Overkill
Welcome to planet Earth .. where everything is irrelevant .. mostly for me since I don't give a rat's tail 'bout nutting .. most of the times .. Rant: Just like an hour ago, we had a Russian lesson. We were going to translate a hard text basically all by ourselves. So I opened the page with the text and saw that the previous owner of the book had already translated it for me. Then this pathetic classmate of mine practically told the teacher that I had it translated already in my book. Then the teacher started arguing with me and ordering me to erase the notes made with a pencil. Darn that fat and rude teacher. I 'oughta give her a painful <> and one for that traitorous classmate of mine. Luckily, that classmate 'MIGHT' get a 'D' for his homework since I didn't show him mine (I got an 'A'). The next time he's going to ask me for homework I'll be like - <> I'm not an evil person, I just hate people who make my life miserable and screw up my day. LFC4EVER
My mom asks me "Why I got A-'s on my progress report." Two of them. When the rest are A's. :x :x Happens to me too. Once i got 95% on a maths test, and i told my mum and she's like "What about the other 5%?". I wonder what she'd say if i did really bad. Hmmmm.. :? R3VENGE
rant: i want msn but my dad wont let mehopefully he will soon..... Ah, yes son. I recognize the pain of the suppression from your parents. At first, they wouldn't let me have MSN either. Over time, I became more and more handy with computers, and took both of them over. That resulted in a complete monopoly on the PC's in the house, and I have been Sysadmin since I was 11. Basically, the method is to learn more of computers then your parents do, trump them with your skills, and free reign is within hand reach. Now I can visit EVERY site I want, download EVERY program I want, and delete any of their files without being bothered. Well, except for the deleting files stuff, to which I mostly reply that they probably hadn't been there in the first place. but the thing is i might be able to get it soon yay cos my dad knows my girlfriend has it so yeah but then i just have to keep asking him then heel let me get it....well hopefully rant:when i want to talk to people there always ofline (ps3) my friend who moved to america needs to catch up on stuff thats happened... Its extremely tedious and annoying i would not reccomend it :? HITMAN-X-
My llast post about Xfire and the phone was ment for R3VENGE. //RANT: I been in tech support for over an hour with this russian (IX hires russians over any other group of people in the US and no I don't know why, maybe it has to do with the owners coming from russia). Anyway SMTP is not working and this tech support person is trying to tell me the problem is both ISPs I am using. My home ISP is blocking port 25 and my workplace ISP which is another company all together is blocking port 25. I then tell her that all my other hosts work and there all on port 25 for SMTP. Nope it got to be the ISPs down here. Quote DEXTUT.COM

Overkill
I categorize most of my days as 'bloody potato'. I basically come home with a headache every day and then there's this big pile of homework and each day I have to see these familiar faces, some of which I wouldn't like to see. People with their lame jokes, huge egos and exemplary characteristics of pure 'idiotism'. It's quite difficult to find any meaning in the lesson's subject if 30+ people attempt to speak at the same time .. lack of discipline .. Well, at least there's good music and my self consciousness keeps reminding me that the weekend starts tomorrow .. wait .. I have a test at chemistry tomorrow and a Russian lesson tomorrow .. DARN IT! Quote Yes, I'm a fan. ;] | My Gallery|

Not to diminish your struggles, but we all have crappy days, headaches, and busloads of papers. Like this week, I've gotten around 4 hours of sleep each night; I've had 5 papers due, three midterms, a 12 page research paper + PowerPoint presentation, and a 10 hour drive waiting for me on Friday. No roses here, but I slog through it.

david.atwell
Yeah, life can be a pain at times, but why do we always have so little time to rest?! No fair .. >.> Heh. I know the feeling. My first semester as a college student, I worked five days a week and had eighteen credit hours of classes the other two. It was rough; I don't think I slept more than six hours a night that whole semester. I've got it shaken out, now; a better balance. But I know how tough a busy schedule is. Overkill
It was rough; I don't think I slept more than six hours a night that whole semester. I would've died. Seriously, I'm a heavy sleeper and sleeping is one of my favorite leisure activities. I can sleep easily till 2PM if necessary. But I can't live through a week without any good sleep. I've been there. Once, when I was younger, I had bad sleeping disorders for a week or so. It was so depressing and made me totally miserable. david.atwell
Oh, I didn't say I wasn't miserable. :-P But a happy side-effect is that now I have very lenient sleep requirements to still be functional. Six hours for long periods of time (i.e. a week or so), with eight hour "recovery" times every once in a while, don't harm me too much. Though after a while it does drag me down. I can even be functional one day every once in a while with as little as four. Flexible sleep patterns = the secret of a good college experience. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... Overkill
Well, at least you're lucky to have gotten used to it. And I'm lucky to be not in college! david.atwell
In the United States, "College" and "University" are mostly synonymous. And they both mean "Optional institute of higher learning beyond the state-sponsored twelve years." :-) Or "money-sucker." But that's a bit different. Overkill
Meh, I always thought they were two different things .. University - a place where you do some serious studying and stuff. College - a place where to party hard! Simon Brown
Rant: Mods locking my post and telling me to read the rules, without (at least) tell me which one. Is typing 2 digits that hard? My guess is that they want you to read through the rules entirely and understand which rule you have broken.
