You know what bugs me, pyro? The links in your sig are all one space away from the bar characters separating them, but there aren't spaces between the ending links and the < > characters. Aesthetically vexing, my friend. :D

Rick Brewster and other people (like PC World editors) make a particular mistake, too. For example, they say "png's" instead of "PNGs" as a plural form. That doesn't make sense because the apostrophe doesn't represent a possessive form of png nor does it represent "png is".

I really hate typing in extensions and making it plural. Extensions are supposed to be lowercase, and whatnot. So you've got .pngs? I've never heard of .pngs...

I usually just work around it by saying .png files. It's easier than pirouetting around semantics.

Does that happen often, Myrddin?

I have no idea what you're talking about.

My turn.

I build pools(inground) for a living and right after tax season, everybody wants one. Workload picks up ENORMOUSLY! I live in south Texas and it's summer and it's humid and it's HOT! I go in for work before sunup and I get home after sundown. The only days I have off are Sunday's or like today when I have a dental appointment. The only time I get a chance to eat a home cooked meal is on Sunday and that's only if I'm home to do so. I'm a beach bum and so far this year I havn't had a chance to surf, throw some ringers, play volleyball, play sand soccer, chase girls, and worst of all... no BBQ or Coronas. My hands hurt. My back hurts. My knees hurt. My... I HURT!!! Oh yeah, we had some rain not too long ago so now the mosquitos are intolerable. Let's see... Hurricane season has arrived and south Texas hasn't really had to deal with any major hurricanes for about 40 years so we are way overdue for one. That being said, I still got a smile on my face and my eyes are wide with dollar signs!

I think I'm gonna listen to some Otis Redding now...

uH, CMD, and Pyro.

Look at it this way:

I have bad spelling, fine, I'll deal with it. I have a large vocabulary and weak spelling, thats just how it is with me.

Be happy I don't go around saying:

"Wut up" or something completely argent like that.

@Buzzkill:

That has to be hard, I know when I lived in Florida I was always scared a hurricane would hit.

Before we moved we had a hurricane and ended up moving 28 elderly people from my mom's A.L.F. to a city too far away for comfort, then when we got there and felt safe, the hurricane had a chance of switching to our direction.

I know that can't be fun.

We don't have too much trouble with hurricanes in VA. Except for the past few years. Hurricane Isabel came and screwed a lot of thing up.

My favorite word is electroencephalogram. I love it because it sounds like one of those words that Calvin would make up and I can actually spell it without the computer correcting me :D

You lived in Florida? Yay!

BTW, try "arrogant"

*runs away*

Look at it this way: the way we should look at it...

I understand Yata. Please rest assured that it was an attempt at ribbing humor on both our parts.

I know I for one am meticulous when it comes to grammar, much more so than "normal" people, and have been since my Junior year of High School. It was then that, in one of my classes, a German foreign exchange student proved, by way of being the only student in the class that could answer, that he knew more about English grammar than I. I changed a little, eh?

So no, I don't expect anyone to be perfect. Ever. Heck, I'm not even perfect, and I try to be!

I apologize.

I'm sure CPM would know...

And so would pyrochId <.< >.>

No actually, pyrochild and pyrochiId don't have the same IP...

Hey BuzzKill! Glad that you're back. :)

What am I going to rant about... oh well. I'm sure that there are a lot of things that could be ranted on, but right now, life's good! :mtdew:

Same, except for me it's been since I was uh... 4. Also, I've noticed that correcting people is kind of my way of venting. I always seem to do it more when upset about something, and seeing as this is basically the venting thread... Anyhow, sorry if I've upset you, Yata.

If we did, then pyrochiId's sig would look better

I'm not upset, I just get that a lot is all.

Just like the quote of quality vs quantity.

Meaning vs way on conveying that meaning, means the same to me.

If anyone understands the similarity
