Yata
I don't know anyone else with a ps2. And I used to punch holes in walls.. and various things. After being screamed at enough, I stopped. Funny thing: My dad punch the car's windshield out. pyrochild
I don't know anyone else with a ps2 A PS3 60 or 80GB? (The 20 & 40 don't play PS2 games). Or, if you have a DVD drive in your computer, you could put the disc in and see if you can copy all the files from the disc to your hard drive. You won't be able to do anything with them, but if they copy without error, it's probably your PS2's laser. If the labels are damaged, there's nothing you can do. Mike Ryan
The 80gb does only software emulation and does not have the hardware emulation like the 60gb.
Yata
I do have a dvd drive. I'll try it. And what are you talking about with the 80 and 60gb? Edit: I guess that cd is gone... I got an error [after having explorer stop responding and having to restart it] when copying the files. http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s293 ... t00611.jpg Quote "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former" [ dA Paint.NET Chat :: Yata on dA ]
pyrochild
The PS3 has shipped 4 different versions, with different hard drive sizes. The hard drive size is not the only difference between them, but it's an easy way to identify which model is which. First, the 20GB and 60GB were released. 20 had no way to play PS2 games. 60 had hardware-based emulation of the PS2 (basically, it had most of the chips that you'd find in a ps2, including the Emotion Engine processor). Then, the 20 and 60 were replaced by the 40 and 80. Again, the 40 has no way to play PS2 games, and the 80 does. This time, though, it's all software-based. It doesn't have any of the chips from the PS2, but uses a software emulator to run the games. The compatibility is lower than hardware, though. They'll all play PS1 games, though. BoltBait
RANT: Apparently, I'm the only person able to promote stuff to The Galleria. And, I can't often do that since Intel's firewall blocks FTP traffic. Mike Ryan
I forgot that images were hosted on the getpaint.net server. At first I was like "You post via ftp?" then I sat down and asked myself the same questions and decided that was just stupid.
vista?
CMD can't? Could this be because sabrown100 said that there are several "grades" of a moderator and admin?
BoltBait
No, It's just that I'm the only one with an FTP account at getpaint.net. Now that I have the kinks worked out with my account, Rick needs to give the other mods accounts. At least, now he'll know how to set up the permissions. david.atwell
You could code your way out of a steel box.
