Working with a 418 X 252 .jpg and was working on two different layers copying and pasting back and forth trying to get the layering right. I hit the undo button back a few steps and it crashed. Doesn't seem too important but I thought I'd post it anyway.

You didn't happen to take a screenshot did you?

That was the one thing that crossed my mind, after I clicked "OK" after the dialog box popped up, if it happens again I'll take a quick snapshot.

One other thing I've been noticing and maybe you can give a little more info. on this one but when I copy and paste to a new layer the first time, whatever I have copied pixel wise will show up as a new layer. However, when I do this a second time to form a 3rd layer, nothing shows up. Is there a limit to copying and pasting within new layers? I usually make up about two new ones before flattening down when working on an image.

I'll screenshot when I'm working within one and post here if it happens later on.

Crash log for Paint.NET v2.6 (Alpha 1 Release build 2.6.2172.30793)

Time of crash: 12/19/2005 10:00:15 PM

OS version: 5.1.2600.65536

.NET Framework version: 2.0.50727.42 X86

Processor count: 1

Exception details:

System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Value of '101' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'minimum' and 'maximum'.

Parameter name: Value

at System.Windows.Forms.ProgressBar.set_Value(Int32 value)

at PaintDotNet.ProgressDialog.set_Value(Double value)

at PaintDotNet.CallbackWithProgressDialog.DoProgressUpdate()

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The first time I tried to update it, it stopped at 48% and I had to restart.

The second time I tried to update it, it went all the way to 100% and said it couldn't extract anymore and left me with a pdncrash.log for the holidays.

Here goes round 3.....

-Also the copying and pasting an image between new layers is not an issue anymore, I didn't have the right layer highlighted (visible) so it was a matter of operator error.
