Fabadoom Posted June 4, 2007 Author Posted June 4, 2007 Hi All I have an image (currently rectangular in shape) and I simply want to crop the corners to be rounded. The image is to be used as a background image for a website. What's the best way to do this ? P.S. I'm a newb with no real experience of any photo editing software. Thanks in advance for your advice Quote

Ash Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Use + at appx 5 brush width. Once you draw a Rounded Rectangle around the part you wanna keep. Just use Magic wand to select the Rounded Rectangle part a hit delete. Clean up rest of image or what ever is left that you don't want. Fabadoom Posted June 4, 2007 Author Posted June 4, 2007 Ash Thanks for getting back so quickly When I use the magic wand tool it just selects chunks of colour, how do I get it to select everything within the rectangle boundary ? My image is a colour photograph. Quote

Ash Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 2 ways 1.Use a very different color from what you have in the image. ie. image is sky, you use red as color. 2.When using Magic wand Lower the Tolerance level. Quote All creations Ash + Paint.NET [ Googlepage | deviantArt | Club PDN | PDN Fan ]
