Crazy Man Dan
Greetings! There's a little bug I found yesterday in 3.08. To recreate: Draw a line using the Line Curve tool. While the line is still active for editing, use the keyboard shortcut for decreasing the line width by 5 (Ctrl+[) The line vanishes like a monkey! This will happen at any width. Ctrl+] works, and [ and ] both work, but Ctrl+[ nixes the line. Rick Brewster
Ok that's weird.... .... Oh I think I know why. Ctrl+[ maps to the control code 27. And Esc has the character code 27. And Esc causes the Line/Curve tool to abort, or rather effectively to 'undo' itself. Bug filed. david.atwell
The line vanishes like a monkey! How, pray tell, does a monkey vanish compared to anything else? (Wild Fast Fix) Rick, I'd like to thank you for fixing these bugs so quickly after they're reported. I think too many people in this forum complain to you and not enough give you mad propz for all the stuff you do. So...anyway, high-five. (David vanishes like a monkey.) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
