Recommended Posts

yeah I resied them but it blurs after I resize them. I think it is just the actual images that I am using which is the problem.

I will do a step by step screen capture to see if anyone can spot the problem.

I noticed, in your history window, that you used "Fast Blur". Can you reproduce the same error using Gaussian Blur instead?

I'm curious if there is a problem with Fast Blur.

Ah ha! Those screenshots help a lot.

Alright, I am able to reproduce this. The cause is the Fast Blur you used with a selection active. As is stated in the Ed's Egregious Effects effects topic:

WARNING: These effects do not work correctly if you have any selection active. They should only be used on whole layers...

Perhaps Ed could shed a little light on the reason behind the scenes, since I'm not a programmer myself, but the Fast Blur is the culprit. Use Gaussian Blur instead. :)

Yes, thanks that worked. But I am curious because I have used it before and nothing was wrong with it.

I think so, but my post was a conclusive statement based upon testing and verification.

Your's was a suggestion, based on a hunch.

I win. :P

Yeah, when I started typing, your post wasn't there. Sorry. I didn't mean to step on your wittle toesies. >_>
