have used search but can not locate

there was a signature around Feb I think where the person used a picture with one layer darken and the next lighten and then changed them back to screen and achived a sort of vectorish blue/black image

its not in the vector tut and can not find in anything that says screen when I search.

anyone remember this one by any chance.

I know I should have written it down but well who knew I'd be thinking I'm now able to tackle this one

Help point me in correct direction please.
