I have tried to remove the background---Magic Wand----Cut----Elipse Select Tool-----Delete. If I color the background (white), I get a white background. If I make the white background fully transparent, I get a black background. If I delete the background, I get a black background. When I tried the Alpha Mask (I don't quite understand the process yet), there is a black background. I started this simple round avatar from a new file. :?
