Trying to find the right curves

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I was playing around with curves one day and managed to get the right combo of r.g.b lines for a certain picture appearance. Saved it as paintnet file and would use it everytime I made an icon. One day I accidently pressed reset on the curves box and lost the combination.

Here's the original picture I was working with:

And this is the same picture but with the curves I stumbled upon:

If anyone could be able to figure out the curves, I would be very grateful and happy.

I know it's a long shot but it's worth a try.

Thanks very much. All help is appreciated.

ETA: Paintnet is a great program.

You know, I downloaded and installed the Terragen 2 Technology Preview the other day, and one thing I noticed was that nearly every set of settings had a little button next to it called Output to Text File. This might be an interesting thing to look into: the saving and exporting of formatted text files to save the settings of a plugin.

I'm not sure if it's possible for plugins to open or save text files, but I know from the Photo Flood Fill and Layer Mask Importer plugins that they can open image files...

Hey, some programmer guy, drop some science!

Anyway, as to the curves you lost, here's a go:

This adjustment was achieved with Curves that looked like so:

I am an organism, an animal, a creature, I am a beast.

Well, I got the bright idea to actually paste the desired result into the image for comparison. This Curves setting produces almost identical results:

A-like so:

I am not a mechanism, I am part of the resistance;

I am an organism, an animal, a creature, I am a beast.
