thebiggfella
The title says it all really. I tried looking in the help section but there was no mention of drop shadows in the 'effects' menu section.
Nesk
It's a plugin, you gotta download it. It could be found in the Plugin section of the forums.
Bob
You mean this plugin, right? http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1411 Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio
thebiggfella
Nesk, I downloaded the plugin a while ago but just got round to looking at it last night. Bob, I had seen that thread before but had forgotten all about it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I followed the instructions and got the effect no problem with both an image and text. It was the transparency bit that was flummoxing me. Got it now though. Just one question: KrisVDM in his instructions says 'now duplicate this layer (Ctrl-Shift-D) (optional).' I tried this but could not see the benefit of it. Could someone please enlighten me. Many thanks. Glynn.
