CadMasterAdam
working in CAD files we sometimes pull in 1bit images. we use this to enable image transparancy directly in the CAD program. however i can't get Paint.net to save less then 24bit. anyone know of a way to make this happen? usedHONDA
What you want is achievable increasing the contrast to the maximum (brightness and contrast adjustment). CadMasterAdam
to be clear i want a 1 bit [black(1) an white(0)] monochomatic image. no grey. no nothing. just black and white. it has to be 1 bit for the appication i am using it in. can paint.net save a 1bit file (bmp tiff png)? file format isn't to critical just 1bit. thanks
usedHONDA
Using Brightness/Contrast [] in the Adjustments menu does just that. Rick Brewster
usedHONDA, the image itself is still saved as 24- or 32-bit. Paint.NET does not support saving as a 1-bit image.
