How to make your sig into a hyperlink?

Recommended Posts

I'm not a web page designer, I don't know HTML JS CSS or any code so I have no experience with websites and their hyperlinked images. Don't blame me :oops:

Say I want to hyperlink my whole sig to one webpage being the link above my sig, how could I do that?

Or even better yet how could I have multiple hyperlinks to it. Just a certain area would link to that page, then another would link to a different place.

Stupid question, wanting an intelligent answer :P

Thank you.

That would be called image mapping. You won't be able to do it for the following reasons:

Lots of HTML code (over 250 characters)

Hard to understand

HTML not allowed on forums

Can't be done in BBCode

oh but it is possible in bbcode! youjust have to break your sig into multiple pics and have each chunk have a separate ladida for each piece. it can get quite tedious depending on how many links you want in it though. especially if you still want to keep it animated. ouch.

But how would I match the pieces up?

Anything from this:

by way of:

{url=?}{img}row1{/img}{/url}

{url=?}{img}row2piece1{/img}{/url}{url=?}{img}row2piece2{/img}{/url}

to this:

(the slanted lines are just me being lazy and not constraining angle with shift; you do actually need to keep them straight.)
