Gamer_World14 1
@ uH: You should definitely check out the Newgrounds Audio Portal, and post some songs on there. I have experimented with digital audio making, and it is very interesting. I even have some uploaded songs there too EDIT: 700 posts! david.atwell 290
(awesome in a can) Sweet! What program do you use? Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

usedHONDA 4
@Benji2 and all others who commented: Thanks a bunch! However, I still need to work on the transitions between sections of the song... it seems like two different songs are being smashed together at the moment @d.a: A funny little piece of awesome called FL Studio (acronym for Fruity Loops), though it's the plugins that make it great. See, the audio world is different from graphic design in its openness. There are literally hundreds of audio editing programs, but they're all simply diverse launch pads for the plugins (VST, VSTi, MIDI, DXi, MAS, ect.). VST is the most used and most supported by far, and the best place to find them is at KVR Audio. For the 1-minute WIP I posted, most of the beat was from the plugin Rez 2.0 I've heard that Linux Multimedia Studio is the best free, open source "launch pad" for Windows (irony), but I haven't tried it myself just yet. ______ By the way, I'm ultra hyped up about the Magic's triumph over the Lakers (see my location on the left) 8) W00T! pyrochild 363
I don't know what pair you bought, and why you spent 50$ on a pair of headphones, but I have never had a problem with them. You completely misread what I wrote. Read again, if you please. I'm sorry, but I have to shoot you now. Skullcandy is garbage. I wouldn't listen to them again for $50, much less spend any money on them. I wouldn't listen to Skullcandy again even if someone paid me $50. I have a Bose set that cost $120 or so. You can find most Bose headphones on eBay for less than half of retail. At first, I was skeptical; these have to be fakes. They weren't. I'm completely against the lakers, other than I'm in awe at how much kobe can carry them. I live only about 5 minutes north of Orlando, so for sure I'm rootin' on my Magic. Bobofthedead 0
Is there a good free music sequencing program out there that uses good ol' staff notation?
