(awesome in a can)

Sweet! What program do you use?

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

@Benji2 and all others who commented: Thanks a bunch! However, I still need to work on the transitions between sections of the song... it seems like two different songs are being smashed together at the moment :)

@d.a: A funny little piece of awesome called FL Studio (acronym for Fruity Loops), though it's the plugins that make it great.

See, the audio world is different from graphic design in its openness. There are literally hundreds of audio editing programs, but they're all simply diverse launch pads for the plugins (VST, VSTi, MIDI, DXi, MAS, ect.). VST is the most used and most supported by far, and the best place to find them is at KVR Audio. For the 1-minute WIP I posted, most of the beat was from the plugin Rez 2.0

I've heard that Linux Multimedia Studio is the best free, open source "launch pad" for Windows (irony), but I haven't tried it myself just yet.

______

By the way, I'm ultra hyped up about the Magic's triumph over the Lakers (see my location on the left) 8) W00T!

I don't know what pair you bought, and why you spent 50$ on a pair of headphones, but I have never had a problem with them.

You completely misread what I wrote. Read again, if you please.

I'm sorry, but I have to shoot you now. Skullcandy is garbage. I wouldn't listen to them again for $50, much less spend any money on them.

I wouldn't listen to Skullcandy again even if someone paid me $50.

I have a Bose set that cost $120 or so. :)

You can find most Bose headphones on eBay for less than half of retail. At first, I was skeptical; these have to be fakes. They weren't.

I am really interested in composing techno beats. Here is an amazing inspiration you may want to listen to, Justice.

My favorite by them:

Props to blooper for getting me into them.

By the way, I'm ultra hyped up about the Magic's triumph over the Lakers (see my location on the left) 8) W00T!

I didn't catch the game, but my response: "YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I'm completely against the lakers, other than I'm in awe at how much kobe can carry them. I live only about 5 minutes north of Orlando, so for sure I'm rootin' on my Magic.

Is there a good free music sequencing program out there that uses good ol' staff notation? Something along the lines of Sibelius would be what I'm looking for.

Yeah. Small text like that is nothing but annoying... So I wrote an override in Stylish to force 100% font size on any spans in the content area of a post. :D

:P, as it were.

Okay, so I was just on craigslist, looking for a summer job, and I found the most generic, non-descriptive job listing ever.

Our Company is now hiring to start asap.

*No Felonies! (Sorry i wish i could help)

We pay a generous sales commission.

Self starters and entrepreneur types is a plus.

Don't require college education but a High School diploma.

We need Part time and Full time and you can set your own hours.

Just report by phone at least once a week to the Territory Manager.

Just to let you know, this is the easiest job you will ever have, TRUST ME!

For more Information Please Call! Emails will take longer to be responded to!

J.P.

A Kind of Care Medical Supply Co.

By the way, the job listing's title was "Now Hiring!"
