david.atwell
Hey, what if we all suddenly die, and it turns out god is a big CHICKEN? What then??? Eternal consequences, that's what! EDIT: I'm amazed at how much Calvin and Hobbes has actually affected my life. That line not only came completely unbidden from my brain, it fits perfectly with something I would have said anyway. Great comics can do that, y'know. Quote  The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Great, now I'm gonna have to pull out my Calvin and Hobbes books and start reading. I knew I shouldn't have thought about it... But yes, Calvin and Hobbes is simply the best, no but's about it. david.atwell
A list of Calvin and Hobbes crackpot theories, compiled for your destruction. I like the "Calvin is a Time Lord" one, myself. Benji2
The cinematographers on House MD are absolutely brilliant. ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY BRILLIANT.They desaturated the whole shot on the episode from two weeks ago (which I just got a chance to watch) in the moment of discovery. Then last week, when he was sleep-deprived, the whole shot was blown-out and sunfiltered. Absolutely brilliant. I know exactly what you mean. It is just amazing
Rick Brewster
I just finished Stephen Hawking's "A Brief History of Time." Interesting stuff Next up ... "The Universe in a Nutshell.' oma
I've just picked up the same book at the library. (A Brief History of Time) I sense another difficult read for me. But I finished the one BoltBait recommended so now I try the one Rick reads. It is very interesting to see what type of books those with more education than I have read. I try to better my knowledge. ciao OMA Quote  My Deviant Art Gallery Oma's Paint.Net gallery

Possum Roadkill
That was my senior marching band show! Well, Mars and Jupiter.Awesome, awesome piece. What school? I was at New Castle High School (Was Chrysler High then) when we won the State Fair in 1974/1975 season. High school band was a great experience. I even got to go to Disney World ! The Planets was one of the first CD's I bought. CD's were pretty new tech back then. Lol ! I still have it. david.atwell
That was my senior marching band show! What school?Even being from Indiana, it probably means nothing to you. :-P I went to Monrovia. I've heard of New Castle, though, which is probably more than I can expect from you about my little bitty school. Although at your time in marching band, my school was tearing up the Hoosier Dome just about every season at State... :-P Quote  The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior...
