To the best of my knowledge, none of the Nord keyboard range have USB MIDI. The Modular series has USB to talk to computers so you can make patches (sounds) but I think Midi is still transferred in the old-stylee 5 pin DIN plugs.

I was yelled at by a pedestrian for driving today. Apparently little miss 14-year-old doesn't know what sidewalks are for, and gets angry when vehicles use her personal asphalt.

yesh got a nord as well, though I can never remember which model..

wish I had a midi plug :?

If you look at it, it will tell you. Companies like writing the model on their products.

Your keyboard will probably have a MIDI plug on the back somewhere, it's a 5 pin socket, computers normally have a MIDI in & if you have a better quality sound card then it will have MIDI in & out sockets.

yeah I know but I was at school when I wrote it, it's a Nord Stage 76 revision 2 (saved about $1k in exchange for the (useless) serigraphy of the 3rd revision.. lol).

does have a mini-usb plug but it's not the midi one. My problem is that I do not have a midi plug in the back of my computer :)

set me back $400, but its hell worth it. so awesome. in total, 280 effects that can be put on it, 140 already there, 140 to make myself. add in an expression pedal, and youve got yourself awesome.

yeah, jazzy-ambient-electro :D

in the style of Fila Brazillia

Cool, you should check out the Audio Portal of Newgrounds. The artists there make pretty good music, and you can download the songs for free (legally) :D I even post my songs there ;)

...you should check out the Audio Portal of Newgrounds.

I'd also suggest checking out Over Clocked Remix - High-quality video game theme remixes, many of them in various forms of electronica, all of them free to download.

But of course there are other genres represented there as well. Check out this rock remix of the Shadow of the Colossus battle track. Best track ever! ;)

Wow, very nice! Mie doesn't have the expression pedal, that was gonna set me back another £20 though I'm sorta regretting that now, but I want to start saving for a Wacom Bamboo now. But that FX pedal looks very nice, a few models up from the one I have, mine has nowhere near as many effects though obviously.

I wish I had a MIDI keyboard, and I wish I knew how to play the piano :(

Does anyone here like digital music like trance, techno, ambient, and so on... :?:

I like electro and house, stuff like Daft Punk and Justice. Excessive trance or rave at parties gets on my nerves though.

You can get MIDI to USB adaptors for fairly small sums of money (£20 that kind of price, not sure the amount in USD).

As we are all telling each other about music, check out Australia's finest - The Cat Empire

Enjoy, good for getting you out of a rubbish mood like they did with me last night. :)

Ha, that's really cool!

If you like game soundtracks, here it the best one I've ever heard: Universe at War's soundtrack, by Frank Klepacki. It's so good, and it's huge: 140 megabytes.

As the weekend approaches, today, in French, I managed to come up with a new unfunny joke!

What is a footballers favourite piece of furniture?

A table!

Hidden Content:
This has two meanings that I can think of ATM:

1. Table pronounced tay-ball

2. League table:

Well, how unfunny is this new one! Awesome huh?:lol::mrgreen::D:mrgreen::lol:
