Down
Bowies great. I listen to a lot of older stuff. King crimson (there's a hilarious version of elephant talk on youtube somewhere), Yes, van halen! good stuff. I'll post more when I get my mp3 working.. Edit: My experiment with smudging into alpha. Only looks good on a light bg: As you can see, im a nub smudger. Crimson
King crimson Well, I never really thought of myself as kingly, per se, but I'll take the compliment, thanks! And the smudging isn't bad. Go get a few grunge and chalk brushes, they look really cool when you use them with many different colors. eraser18
No, no, no! Coldplay is not good, whatsoever, I am afraid to say. It is bland, it is boring: in short it is perfect mass-market music designed to appeal to the easy-listening-soft-rock crowd as much as the "indie" crowd and the crowd who listen to the commercialised radio stations which play the same bland hits at the same time every day. Their use of Brian Eno in Vida la Vida was, frankly sacrilege: how such a talented musician and producer could have put his name to that record is a mystery to me. I'm not going to start an argument here, but if you take the time to listen to songs other than just the hits, you'd hear so much more than just what lies on the surface. For example, in the album Viva la Vida, Life in Technicolor is used also at the end of Death and All His Friends. And the lyrics "now my feet won't touch the ground," which is also a song title in the Prospekt's March EP, are used in Strawberry Swing on Viva la Vida and also in Life in Technicolor ii in Prospekt's March. These little hidden mysteries are what make Coldplay worth listening to, but I agree, the band can be quite predictable -- although I wouldn't say they are boring. They are not a band that appeals to everyone, and I know that. Their music is soft-spoken and meant more to be played as a soundtrack to life, and not to be in the spotlight. Just mellow background music. If you listen in the right way, the songs can be emotional -- my personal favorites being Swallowed in the Sea and The Scientist. I'm sorry, but I just had to defend my favorite band. Quote |Eraser18's Gallery|

Firefly (1) Star Trek Next Generation seasons 1-7 (that's all of them) Psych (1-2) Sarah Connor Chronicles (1) um... My dad has all of Monk and my friend at work has all the Stargate SG-1 seasons. I'm on 8 at the moment. Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game

LJXD
I've got the whole seinfeld series. Every single episode its so damn cool. And 2 Simpsons series (8, 9) All of The Young Ones episodes. And all of Kath and Kim (Australian Version).\ Which reminds me, how did the American Kath and Kim go over in the States? It did absolutely terribly over here. When we rip off american shows they get some of the best ratings. Over here we've got The Price is Right, Wipeout, Australian Idol, Australia's next top model (plus another model-esk show on channel 7), Top Gear Australia (which is a really bad show), Deal or No Deal, and heaps of game shows just with different names. david.atwell
...my friend at work has all the Stargate SG-1 seasons. I'm on 8 at the moment. Excellent. One of my favorite shows. I felt the middle ones to be the best, but "200" is GREAT. The parody of science fiction is impeccable. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

I felt the middle ones to be the best, but "200" is GREAT. The parody of science fiction is impeccable. It really is. I love when they make fun of Farscape, but they don't know what it is! A bunch of people on my hall (at college) get together and watch Stargate every night, sometimes a disk an evening. Of course, I already own all the seasons of SG-1 and Atlantis, so I've seen all the episodes (well, ~90%).
