If I were you (which I'm not), I would make my own double-head USB cable and splice that to the sensor bar. Definitely cheaper than making one from scratch, especially since I have so many USB cables sitting around.

So you suggest splicing two USB cables, than taking apart my only Wii sensor bar and hope that the power meets the demand? Time to start working than ;)

@Mike Ryan: No, you should probably do the maths first. And you don't need to take apart the sensor bar, just cut the cable a little bit (very easy to put back together should things not work out, unless you burn out the LEDs).

And I don't know how to wire a double-USB. Series? Parallel? Do your research unless you enjoy the smell of burning rubber (a not-good sign) and possibly plastic (a far worse sign) or carpet (damn, your reflexes are slow).
