pyrochild
Never seen one of these? If I were you (which I'm not), I would make my own double-head USB cable and splice that to the sensor bar. Definitely cheaper than making one from scratch, especially since I have so many USB cables sitting around. Crazy Man Dan
Sorry David, but there ain't no way I'm missing 1337. ShK_828
doesnt wii have 2 usb ports at the end? (O_o)" oh, and we gotta enjoy the 1337 moment
pyrochild
Maybe Yes, but the point of splicing a sensor bar to USB is to not need the Wii console to be powered on. Mike Ryan
Never seen one of these? If I were you (which I'm not), I would make my own double-head USB cable and splice that to the sensor bar. Definitely cheaper than making one from scratch, especially since I have so many USB cables sitting around. So you suggest splicing two USB cables, than taking apart my only Wii sensor bar and hope that the power meets the demand? Time to start working than If this fails, Pyrochild, you are buying me a wireless Nyko

ShK_828
you know whats funny. the time and date of when i posted first in 1337 was : 4:49, 03 January Ok well, 4+9 = 13, and 4 x 9 = 36 + (4-3) = 37. 13:37. ha
pyrochild
@Mike Ryan: No, you should probably do the maths first. And you don't need to take apart the sensor bar, just cut the cable a little bit (very easy to put back together should things not work out, unless you burn out the LEDs). And I don't know how to wire a double-USB. Series? Parallel? Do your research unless you enjoy the smell of burning rubber (a not-good sign) and possibly plastic (a far worse sign) or carpet (damn, your reflexes are slow). Mike Ryan
Begh, I passed McPhail's circuitry class. I am ready for this, and a double headed USB cable does in fact meet the power demands of a sensor bar, however I as well am not going to put one and one together to create such contraption. Mike Ryan
Are you kidding me? I would plug it into a cheap Linux box laying around not because of the safety reasons, but because I haz no USB to spare.
