I agree. Even though we're in Finland(=winter wonderland), it's still quite green here in the southern part.

Okay, that was slightly misleading. I haven't had much snow, just ice, but a friend no more than 15 miles north of Sheffield was snowed under. So, the North yields far better winter conditions than the land of the Southerners.

We only have 9 snow days this year. We used one in November (there was no snow, but there was a storm and no one had power), we used one a few weeks ago where there was only one little part of the district that had snow, we used one on Wednesday, there was some snow everywhere, the roads were pretty bad (probably a legitimate snow day), and we used one today. The original plan for today was to release at 10:00 because there was a forecast of snow starting around noon, but our idiot superintendent is afraid of snow or something, and she called a snow day. What a waste.

But yeah, right now it's snowing.

Yay it's snowing here in NYC too I think it's the first snowstorm of the season here in NYC, although upstate always gets more snow than we do I just really hope it doesn't turn into rain like it usually does....
