How much have you shopped-around?

Not much, don't really want to get it off the internet though (PCWorld is a british store, so yeah)

Not a bad computer, I guess 500 pounds is in the vicinity 0f $750-$800, which makes it a fair deal. You could probably build something better and cheaper, though. One thing: upgrade to a better discrete graphics card if you get it, no matter what use you put it to.

We must seek this darknovaxp, confront him, burn him.

We haven't had a good burning for a while.

Why would you want to burn me?

My avatar and signature contained images that were not "family-friendly", so BoltBait was kind enough to remove them.

I should probably read the rules for this site before updating them.

I never imagined this to come back to haunt me.

Please, allow me to explain. It started off with this post, bringing to our attention an act of wrongdoing...

What in tarnation?

http://boardsus.playstation.com/playsta ... ing&page=2...whereby the user darknovaxp, from the linked forum, was found to be wearing the avatar of one of our users (a Crazy Man Dan to be precise), with no credit whatsoever. To us, this was a case of plagiarism.

Couple to that my occasionally odd sense of humour.

You can rest assured we aren't going to burn you.

another extremely long link

Something like that? I'm not great when it comes to PC hardware, so I could do with some help.

I would say that a GeForce 9600GT or a Radeon 4670 would be optimal for your purposes, but the XFX 9500 would probably do. It would still be a big improvement over the built in 7050.

I'm not an expert on UK compurter websites, but these two sites ( 1 / 2 ) seem reputable.

I'll recommend PcSpecialist (Sozo's 1), you can spec your PC to your exact requirements, they are currently putting a laptop together for me. :)

TechSupportForum is a good place to ask if you want advice on anything computer related :)

Son, someday you will make a girl happy for a short period of time. Then she'll leave you & be with men that are ten times

better than you can imagine. These men are called musicians. :D

People don't want to vote 3rd party because they know that there's no way they will get enough votes to come anywhere near the others, but they can't get these votes because everyone is afraid they can't get the votes. It's a vicious cycle, as they say.

Well, yes, we're probably screwed, but the sky is probably not falling. The office of the president doesn't have any real power anyway. What I'm really worried about at this point is the house and senate race.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Considering everything I'm looking at is looking rather blue right now -- and is probably going to stay that way -- the president is going to have quite a bit of power indeed.

I should buy a gun.

Note to self: If Obama wins, stay poor for eight years.

Oh, wait. I guess I won't have a whole lot of choice in the matter...

To where? :-P Canada's almost as bad. Let's see...somewhere democracy is thriving, somewhere freedom is on the move...

I've got it! Baghdad!
