Over in the UK, if you don't either wear track-suits with knives stuffed down the waistband, or whatever $30 t-shirt and $60-70 pair of jeans that the all-pervasive Topman wears, you are in a tiny, tiny minority. Plus, Blooper, I think wearing tight jeans makes skating easier, owing to air resistance, but I just reckon that for every-day wear, they're impossibly tight: I had a pair I couldn't sit down in... Scary thing was, they were actually my size.

Also, what is it with the American brand Abercrombie? Not only is the stuff they sell ridiculously expensive (£80 for a hoodie, anyone?), but it is also ridiculously plain. For the prices, you'd expect something more than a plain piece of fabric with a name on...

@ Vista?: Fun fun fun... If you have a good teacher, you won't want to annoy him/her. The best teachers I ever had were approachable people whom you would not wish to even try to annoy in earnest - out of fun, maybe, but not to genuinely annoy them.

I'm in that minority then. Combats from ASDA FTW

Oohh, come on, they're turning kids into slaves

They're turning kids into slaves just to make cheaper sneakers

But what's the real cost, 'cause the sneakers don't seem that much cheaper

Why are we still paying so much for sneakers when you got little kid slaves making them

to make more money....

As am I. Gone are my days of trying to 'fit in'. Gone are the days of my insecurity. Gone are the days of my cowardice. Here are the days of my confidence.

Booyah to ASDA George!

Make sure your water heater is well-maintained and in good repair. And don't cap the safety relief valve or disable the auto-shutoff!

I LOVE Mythbusters. :-)

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

I saw Bruce Springsteen in concert yesterday, at one of those Obama rallys in Philly. And we had a close to the stage spot, so we were like 30 feet away from him. It was awesome :)

I wanted to see Iron Maiden in Toronto early this year but I couldn't go  They never come to Canada!

When I seen that on TV I just though to myself "I am going to die". I got a hot water tank in my apt (Every apt here does). Its in the room next to my bed room. So if it ever went off at night I will be killed. If the person below goes off then it will hit mine as there all under each other, so I will be killed lol.

Playing with a new avatar...

Wow, an actual (recent?) picture we can paste on your posts :P Your face is extremely hard to find on the interwebz. The best I've seen so far is the one where you're drinking a Rolling Rock...

Took a quick glance at Rick's new avatar and .. HOLY HELL!!!

You look so similar to the guy in Gears of War .. GoW - a game which I happen to be playing at the moment. There's this cocky mechanic with a huge ego. He has those big goggles like you do, Rick! And blond hair.

Rick, do you happen to be repairing futuristic APCs in an alien infested city?

Giants beat Eagles (I think) 44-6. HA.

HA. My band director is a Giants and Mets fan, and this guy that plays the clarinet is a HUGE Eagles fan (and some baseball team, I don't know which, I just know he hates the Mets). Last week when the Mets lost, this guy was giving my director a hard time about it, saying "Now how about those Mets!" and just being annoying. This loss for the Eagles is going to give my director something to talk about. :D

Colts beat Texans. A REALLY cool 4th-quarter recovery- I just wish I'd been able to see it!

That's not Rick, it's Neil Patrick Harris playing Dr. Horrible in Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.

Well, it could've been... They're both blond... That's where most of the similarities end, but that's just because I haven't seen any reference material apart from the Rolling Rock one.
