Rick Brewster
18GB isn't a very high requirement when 250GB costs $55: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6822148261 Also, 4GB of memory is $65. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820134193 (I paid 10x that when I got 4GB for my system alllll the way back at the end of 2006) Although, I haven't really played any games on my PC since ... a long time. I played through Bioshock on it, but nowadays my gaming is mostly on the XBOX 360 or PS3. Geometry Wars 2, Rock Band, GTA4 ... oh and I still need to get started on Metal Gear Solid 4. ncfan51
I've been looking at some mobile phones, and there are TWO that are absolutely awesome. Check these out: On the top is the HTC Touch Pro, sibling of the Touch Diamond. On the bottom is the Xperia X1, from Sony Ericsson. If you were next to me right now, you would be drowning in drool. Enormator
You can have Paint MONO there, which is actually a Paint.NET clone. By the way is Paint MONO still work in progress or is the project dead? Why is there in my user control panel in the avatar section a notification that "The avatar functionality is currently disabled."? You all have avatars why can't I have one? vista?
As stupid as it is, I've actually started working on my Christmas signature and avatar set already although I'm taking my time. I've slowly got started although I will admit hand on my heart, that it won't be very good - then again, I'm not the best Paint.NET artist around here. But still, who cares? As long I'm happy with it and it looks somewhat decent and Christmas related, it's fine for me I suppose you wonder why because by the time everyone is in the festive mood for Christmas, I won't have the inspiration or time (I'll keep on forgetting about it probably). In other news, (I keep saying that quite a lot ) there is a new alpha release of Circle Dock! Also, here's another unfunny joke I made whilst being tortured in PE today: Q: How do you provide positive feedback to a restaurant? A: By feeding them back what you paid to eat! Sozo
You have to pay tribute to one of the mods in order to get avatar functionality. I hear D.A takes PayPal.
david.atwell
I sure do. However, we mods don't have the ability. You'll have to ask an admin. Simon Brown
Hey I'm serious. I can't make this work. On a serious note, PM BoltBait, Ash or CMD and ask if someone has disabled avatars for you or even every user after a certain date.
BoltBait
When a user creates inappropriate avatars, their ability to even have an avatar is removed. Myrddin
In the Rants Thread, LFC4EVER[/url]":17or0q9q] I like my English coursework . We have to do 6 pieces of English coursework. The best was imaginative writing (A* ), but the other 5 - Great Expectations.. Macbeth x2.. The Crucible.. and some prose text from some anthology. Ooo, I can't remember what we did for our courseworks. To my old workbooks...Let's see, we had Charge of the Light Brigade (Alfred, Lord Tennyson) and Dulce et Decorum Est (Wilfred Owen) as our pre- and post-1914 wartime comparative poetry piece, Two Scavengers In A Truck, Two Beautiful People In A Mercedes (Laurence Ferlinghetti) and Nothing's Changed (Tatamkhulu Afrika) as our poetry comparison of contrasting cultures. We also had Sherlock Holmes and the Speckled Band (Arthur Conan Doyle) as our crime fiction piece, and Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet (Act 3, Scene 5) as our Shakespearian subject. The joys of letter writing to our Headteacher for our first creative writing works, whereas the second year saw us writing A Diary of a War Photographer for our second creative writing. The comparative works and crime story, for me, averaged at around nine pages (double-sided (my handwriting hits about 11pt type print)), the Shakespearian piece at a measly five sides at 10pt print (our only computer written one (4,300 word count)), and the rest is anyone's guess. It's even worse at college because we have word limits; I write too much and I don't do limits. Ever. All that valuable writing cut in it's prime. Our set texts were An Inspector Calls (J. B. Priestly) and Of Mice and Men (John Steinbeck) which we had to revise certain aspects of for the exam. Four pieces of coursework spread across the two years of study, plus exams for the second. I cannot recall if we had one for the first year. ...Yes, we did, in fact. It was some more letter writing or other. Blazes, that were depressing. Blast, why did I rattle all that off? Why did nobody stop me?! Why? Quote How to Save Your Images under Different File Types My dA Gallery
