Sozo
That is odd... my Dell laptop I got recently came with an ATI Radeon X1270Edit: Speaking of which, would anybody happen to know if that kind of graphics card would run CoD4? No. EDIT: And, you got jipped. That's two generations behind, like those manufacturers that want to sell you GeForce 6100's. Ugh.
pachuco
Hello everyone, sorry I'm jumping into a random conversation, but I just wanted to share this with yall. My uncle, Robert McCurdy, just recently finished his portrait of the Dalai Lama. He specializes in very realistic portraits, and has painted figures such as Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Toni Morrison. I personally think his work is amazing, and not just because he's family Thought I'd share with an art community, although this is on canvas and not PDN. He did comment on PDN, though, saying that he'd love to use it for photo editing and touch-ups! Please note that these are copyrighted images and should only be linked directly from his site. Thank you! PS: Hidden Content: I got 99 posts and a spam ain't one!

usedHONDA
Sorry for the change of subject (those paintings are incredible!): I just got an email from fMods.com (a Forumer plugin site) asking if I wanted to become a staff member of the site. I registered to their forum about 4 months ago, only made around ten posts, and they suddenly, they start sending this: There are many benefits to working for Forumer such as helping to manage a fast grouwing community, great administration and there's always room for promotions! If you are at all interested, please contact Eric, Kris or Jordan and they will be happy to respond to your messages. I just found that amusing. Maybe I should apply just to see what happens Quote "The greatest thing about the Internet is that you can write anything you want and give it a false source." ~Ezra Pound twtr | dA | tmblr | yt | fb

MattBlackLamb
Who ever it was that decided to see what happened when you blow down a hollow tree branch is someone I want to meet (probably not gonna happen but that's not the point). The Didgeridoo is a fantastic instrument & does require quite a lot of skill to play. There are some good didg videos on youtube if anyone is feeling like seeing one in action. You can also expect some music from me involving a didgeridoo I'm doing it for college. Quote dA Son, someday you will make a girl happy for a short period of time. Yata
I have enough online responsibilities at this moment in time.. so even if I wanted to I wouldn't. Manage my website and it's forum Program my private RS server Work as an admin on a well known private RS server And whatever else falls in there... The last one is time consuming, but I love it. Oh, and I don't like forumer, so that's another reason. vista?
At the age of 12, I am in a situation which is the closest to doing a task in the Apprentice (UK)! What is this task? We've started a brand new project in ICT. (First of all, I must say, our brand new ICT trainee teacher is doing good, unlike most TT, she is actually a decent teacher!) Anyway, there are groups of 4. Each group has a project manager (my PM has promoted me to second in command). You hire people (contractors) and pay them depending on their national curriculum level (the higher the better, thus I am a level 7 so I as a contractor am worth £700, L6 = £600, L5= £500). You have a budget of £3000 (not really, obviously! after all, it's a "game") As a group, we have organise a disco, this means, as a group, we have to sort out "entertainment", "food", "music", "advertisement" etc. It's hard because, when you look at the price list and start buying, it's very easy to run out of money. As SIC, I get to boss others around! But, anyway, already, me and the PM need to reconsider our spending!!! By the end of this term, when this task finishes, and by then we need a spreadsheet of income etc, a powerpoint/website of information about our disco (I'll be doing a website to get higher marks and because 99% of our class can't code!) Trust me, it's harder than it seems!
R3VENGE
seeing as at my school we have forms in each form theres about 30 pupils mixed both boys and girls and all different levels of knowledge (to put it in a nice way ) and for ict were all together as a form so...well theres only about 10 people who know what there doing :? im the highest level i think in our form and maybe even our year lol anyway back to the point ...well the teacher does stuff really simply like "how to rotate a text box in publisher" and stuff like that it sucks but next year when were all in our choices ill be having 3 or 4 extra lessons of ict a week and it wont be full of childish people that done even know how to do the simplest of tasks... @vista?: i hope you complete your task well i wish we did interesting things at my school lol Quote psn id: R3V-fiR3

TBH, I feel sorry for you for the fact that you're ICT lessons are so dreary. Until our TT came, I myself found ICT lessons fairly boring, I wasn't learning anything new although others were! The real teacher (not the TT) was teaching us stuff like sums in Excel, it was so easy!
HITMAN-X-
Ya I did project management back in school along with enterprise. I then had to do project management again in my 1st year of college. It was boaring, the only thing I liked about it was doing case study on things like ENRON. I did like enterprise however as we had to setup a business for real and run it during the year. We just finished databases, although to be honest, I wanted to learn how you do forms in databases because I can do them but I struggle at the last hurdle. And flowcharts . . . that was sooooooo boring for me, at least now I'm doing something fun!
