MMkay. I need to know if there is any community interest in an SVG Filetype plugin. Yea or Nay?

By coincidence a friend of mine asked me if there would be SVG Ex/Importing... I suppose it could be usefull for importing InkScape stuff.

The funny thing is, with the proliferation of LCD Panel displays, Google is actually using more power today than ever before.

Yeah...irony.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Yea!
I thought InkScape, along with most other vector editors could export as a Bitmap.
They can, but whatever pyrochild has in store must make this process easier, or remove the 'middle-man'.

I read once on here a suggestion, that if you were to import an SVG you would be given a dialog to manipulate the size of the vector before rasterising in Paint.NET. So, import > resize of vector > finalising of import where it's rasterised.

I thought it was a great idea, and it would save time. Do we get a clue pyro?

That what I though to. But they say that it does not burn more power or less but the same it would if it were any color.

As to why we don't do this permanently - it saves no energy; modern displays use the same amount of power regardless of what they display.

Yes! An SVG file type plugin is something I've thought about for a long time, but never really mentioned.
