Simon Brown
1. Was that compulsory. Free-market allows people to not have a job but still do so in a fair way. 2. That is partly because of equality, and partly due to liberal social values - which I support (the latter). 3. And what is wrong with that? It gives people a chance to have a life built upon their own work - it gives people the right to have a life of dignity and purpose.

How is it fair that some people get everything paid for them in life where others have to work their butts off to get anywhere? The whole "every man for himself" concept is stupid. And how is being on welfare because you lost your job because your employer went bankrupt due to the free-market living a life of dignity and purpose? This whole concept was always part of nature - it is the way life works at every level. Do you have a right to your neighbour's work? Yes, it's part of nature but I'm hoping that humanity is beyond competing with each other for our own survival. I'm hoping that humanity is ready to work together with one another for the advancement of our society. Unfortunetally I keep getting proved wrong. Humans are no different than wolves. pyrochild
unfreeze is not spyware. It just happens to have a signature that happens to match the signature of known spyware. The whole program's source is freely available, and it's definitely not spyware. Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it! BoltBait
I never said the system was perfect but it did a lot better for a while than the current system in western countries. Explain how it is better than the system in western countries. 1. Everyone had a job. 2. Less crime. 3. There wasn't huge class gaps. There was no poor nor rich. Everyone was in the middle. The system is far from perfect. You see, without the incentive of cold, hard cash, no one has the motivation to do anything. If I don't work, what are you going to do--feed me? Let me correct your list: 1. Everyone has a job but no one has the motivation to do their best, let alone even a halfassed job. 2. Way more crime. 3. There was a huge class gap: (1)those in high rank of the government and (2)the poor. Humans are no different than wolves. They'll work together but as soon as you become inconvenient they leave you to die. And, should you choose not to die... you are free to make something of your self. You could do yourself (and all of us a favor) by reading the book Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. When you've finished, let me know if you have any questions. And you are unwilling to read a book arguing the faults in what you are saying? No, I'm unwilling to read the book because from what I've heard of it it sounds uninteresting. There's also the fact that I'm about 6 years backlogged in my books read to books purchased ratio. @Boltbait HA! Fat chance of that. A book has as much chance of making me change my point of view as I would have convincing you to assassinate the president. Also, your point of view that everyone should worship the almighty dollar is hardly enlightened. Quote Deviant Art

The worst time for spelling mistakes is when attempting to defend a losing argument I have no desire to read that book. Thus showing that you are closed-minded and unwilling to accept ideas other than those which you were originally presented with.
