Oh, and for further reference, I read about it here.
Abdussamatov's work, however, has not been well received by other climate scientists.

...because his research makes all the other scientists look like idiots.

They generally don't like that so they reject his ideas automatically.

Can someone translate this comment I got on dA for me?

"很喜欢不错啊。简单舒服"

Google says "Like ah well. Simple uncomfortable"

According to Babelfish:

"Likes very much good. Simple is comfortable"

I think he means that:

" like [this piece] very much. [it is] good. [The] simple [style of this piece] is comfortable"

I felt it. I thought I hallucinated it with no evidence to suggest it happened. To prove my sanity I checked on the British Geological Council's website* for live seismological coverage, and found myself to to be of sound mind once more. Then saw this on BBC News.

5.1 is very high for us in Britain.

*a slow website at that.

*cough* ;-)

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind a move to another service right about now...

Besides, when Rick started the forum, Paint.NET wasn't very popular, and it wasn't worth investing too much money into. Now that PDN is the second most popular image editor on the face of the Earth, Rick's more than willing to spend $300+ per month on it, especially with him getting $1000s in donations.

How exciting... I didn't know that the United Kingdom had earthquakes! 5.1 is pretty violent too.

I've been in earthquakes in San Francisco, but I'm not sure if any of them were equal to or greater than 5.1...

I'm glad you are safe!

"For infinite happiness," said the Spirit. "You can step out into it at any moment..."
