Hey! LokiCola! :-)

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

New rule, I think that the rules have been lacking without it. Definitely a good addition.

Agreed. Good part of Wikipedia. Good part of PdN.

Bu... But they tasteses so good. :(

I too feel that the inclusion of the rule is a smart one. After all, strangers are just friends you haven't made yet! Corny line, but the sentiment is valid - new faces bring new ideas and new talent, and we don't want to scare them off with snap replies.

It can be taxing, answering the same questions multiple times, but each person who asks it is doing so because they haven't heard the answer yet. Hopefully, by answering their queries with a smile, forced or otherwise, we'll be able to ease them into the community. And who knows - pretty soon, perhaps you'll be able to let them handle the questions from the next batch of newcomers.

Well put. We were all newcomers once...some of us with no graphic design experience at all (me). I mean...what's saturation anyway...? ;)

T_Lh was commenting about how he was clueless back when he was a n00b, so I made a similar one. I didn't know about alpha at all. I didn't even know the word had anything to do with graphics.

I'd only used Fireworks a bit, in school, B.PdN so, I just didn't have a clue this way or that...

And, CMD, I agree. N00bs are often bitter, but marinade them in plenty of barbecue sauce before grilling, and they taste just like chicken!

The Exploding planet tutorial uses it very good. :D

I thought you use Color Burn, not Xor. Or is that different way to make it?
