I did consider it at the time, but unfortunately there is nowhere that would house it adequately enough. You can't just go bunging your signature in any old place, has to be perfect . Actually, I truly didn't realise that 'bung' used in this context was predominantly a British colloquial. I know 'chuck' is, which why I never use it (plus, we have been conditioned not to use it in writing anyway), but 'bung'... News to me. So, yes, apologies for the confusion; I shall be more wary when planning to chuck in the odd informal phrase here and there.
