A.T.
Howdy, folks. :Look left: This is my first post. I just wanted to introduce myself. I was born in 19 and 68. I live in northern Louisiana, although I consider America as my backyard. I spend the majority of my time traveling. I have been using Paint.Net for a while. And I have followed several tutorials, which are great by the way.

usedHONDA
Okay, some major news in this appartment today! Last night I was going through one of my closets looking for some speakers (once again, for my Ubuntu PC). I didn't find them, but I did find something else... my old NES! That's right, the Nintendo Entertainment System I got when I was ~9 years old! I went crazy because I also found like 20 games for it in a separate box... I'm so going to play Metroid on it today! I'll see if I can snap a picture of the NES to show off its mint-conditioned state Quote "The greatest thing about the Internet is that you can write anything you want and give it a false source." ~Ezra Pound twtr | dA | tmblr | yt | fb
Mr Frojo
You've got metroid for the NES? I love that game. Ive also got it. Its been a while since I played it. I played duck hunt on my NES a couple months ago. Best Game for that IMO is Super mario 3. Love that game. And as for the mint-condition shape of yours, those things are pretty durable. Mines been though a lot, but still works fine. EDIT: As a cheat for metroid, enter the following in the contine thing on the main menu. Steven Bailey ------ ------ I think thats it. Its a funny story about that cheat though. Somebody wanted to see if their name loaded a save anywhere in the game. Turns out it does, and with a ton of powerups and stuff too. Try it. usedHONDA
I've actually tired that cheat code Also, wow, I have Duck Hunt, too! It's actually a 2-in-1 game that has Super Mario Bros. + Duck Hunt. I still have the gun, too Quote "The greatest thing about the Internet is that you can write anything you want and give it a false source." ~Ezra Pound twtr | dA | tmblr | yt | fb
Mr Frojo
You've just got the 2-in-1 game version. Im the only one I know who has the 3-in-1 game. Its that, Mario 1, and world class track meet. Im sure you've heard of that game, or seen it or something. If not, Clickey! Its a great game. EDIT: !!!!! WOW. Ive got a colectors Item. That things worth a ton. Ive got to frame it or something. There are estimated only around 300 copies in circulation, making it highly sought after and valuable among collectors. Loose cartridges currently fetch upwards of $1000 on eBay, and as high as $1775 USD. [1] In June 2006, the only known factory sealed copy was auctioned off on US eBay for $3050,[2] and in May 2007, a loose instructions manual was sold for $875.[3] There are less than 10 known complete (cartridge, manual, box) copies in collector's hands. [4] EDIT2: Wait, nevermind. Thats just for copies of world class track meet, not the 3-in-1 version. Heres a copy for sale. Man, that got me excited when I saw that it was a collectors item. Im depressed now... EDIT3: Dont buy that. Its a ripoff. It doesnt include the powerpad. Quote I'm still alive!

Mr Frojo
No it doesnt spike. That world class track meet game is hard though. You ever beaten it pyro? I got to the last guy, but he owned me at the hurdles. I gave up after that. And as for metroid, that games really fun. I beat it a long time back. The bosses are hard though. And also, super mario bros 3 is a game you have to have for the nes. Greatest mario ever. Quote I'm still alive!
pyrochild
I have SMB3 as well No, I haven't beaten WCTM, as I haven't played it since I was probably 5 or 6... I didn't beat Metroid on the NES either, but I did on the GBA. usedHONDA
You got me interested, Frojo. http://www.videogameconnections.com/nesrare.txt I'm checking all my games and the rarest so far is Street Fighter 2010 with a "B"... that game was hard! I also have RBI Baseball 3, which has a "B-". EDIT: Wow, Street Fighter 2010 is going for over $15 on eBay right now... Mr Frojo
Im looking for my games on the list. I found 1. Its common, but also a great game. Double dragon. But also like most all old games, its UNBELIVABLY hard to beat. Ive gotten far, but I just cant do it. On a diferent subject, ive said here before that I love the game morrowind. I just recently was able to add distant land, HDR lighting, a better pixel shader, and x8 AA. Now all it needs is a really good texture pack, and it will be just like a new game again. EDIT2: Any of you guys have Ice hockey? I love that game. Im still yet to get to it on the list to see how common it is, but its a great game. Quote I'm still alive! usedHONDA
Ooohhhh... In the box witht he NES games is also my SNES Mario Paint with the mouse, mouse pad, and instruction booklet. Going for $50 on eBay 8) EDIT: Nightmare on Elm Street: a whopping $30! Mr Frojo
I dont have too rare of games. I dont think that thing is too accurate though, because it says that world class track meet is a D Quote I'm still alive!
usedHONDA
Gaunlet II: a decent $15 EDIT: Ghostbusters: $15 Who knew that these games would one day be worth so much? I bet I have over $300 in that box! I dont think that thing is too accurate though, because it says that world class track meet is a D Read the wikipedia article you posted more closely. It says that "Stadium Events," a prototype of WCTM, is the one with ridiculously high prices. Stadium Events is listed as an A+.
