usedHONDA
You have the habit of not adding anything to a thread. You seem to be posting just to see your name on the forum listing page. I used to do that back when I was in a race to 1000 posts (and the race to pass BoltBait in posts), but once done, I realized how immature I was acting and started to make more productive* posts. Besides, it's not like you're going to get an award for posting a lot-- you're more likely to be labeled a spammer by other users. *note that I didn't put "long" or "useful" there Quote "The greatest thing about the Internet is that you can write anything you want and give it a false source." ~Ezra Pound twtr | dA | tmblr | yt | fb

david.atwell
It was moderately funny once. But now it's just getting to the point of ridiculous. *sigh* So, apparently, a Bull in a China Shop isn't very clumsy...Mythbusters just proved it. Who knew? Quote  The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
The_Lionhearted
Anyone have a Xanga site, and if so, has anyone played with the CSS for the new CSS-based layouts? :? I'm having a bit of difficulty. Quote My Gallery
Crazy Man Dan
Nope no Xanga. What's the link to yours? I can take a long, cool look at the CSS. So, I just picked up Tourist Trophy today, the motorcycle racing game from Polyphony Digital, the makers of Gran Turismo. The controls and the completely different handling characteristics are going to take some getting used to, but I like it so far. So far, I've fallen asleep during every single physics class... I love physics. I also had an incredibly awesome physics instructor, which probably helped. I've always loved the sciences, and my brain comprehends the straightforwardness of math quite well, so physics (the mathematical study of the workings of science) was, like, the perfect fit. I can take a long, cool look at the CSS. Guess... www.xanga.com/The_Lionhearted Didn't realize what you were getting into, eh? I really appreciate any suggestions you might be able to offer. Basically I can't figure out how to get the background for the datetime stamp at the top of each post to extend all the way across the post...er...area. Even with IE Developer Toolbar highlighting all of the divs and things, I don't know what is making that post area larger than width=100%. I'm pretty fluent in CSS/XHTML (imho) but this is eluding me for some reason. Quote My Gallery
Crazy Man Dan
Alright, the thing I see is the dategroup class has a padding of 10 on the horizontal sides. The h3 that contains the date is inside of a div with the dategroup class, so it's being pushed away from the sides. If you remove that ten pixels of padding, then remove the width declaration from the h3, it will fill the entire area. The problem, though, is then is your content will be squished up against the sides. Alternately, you could add a repeating background across the top of the containing div and remove it from the h3, but in the event that the title in the h3 is large and overruns one line, the background wouldn't stretch to compensate. By the way, MuteMath rocks. Myrddin
Apparently one of the best set in my year (one of three or four), which is disappointing as some really intelligent students appeared to have done badly during the exams. This is the thing with exams, if you're feeling a little off, not the best subject/topic, illness, can't attend and so on, it can have massive repercussions on what you can do after. Coursework helps and I like coursework. Thanks again . Quote How to Save Your Images under Different File Types My dA Gallery

Myrddin
Are you gonna go to college or do A levels next? Both, A-levels at college . Thinking of doing English Language, Geography, Archaeology and Graphic Design. I would have Geology but due to lack of interest they had to cut it from the curriculum. Oh well, I think four A-Level courses is enough . Quote How to Save Your Images under Different File Types My dA Gallery

Myrddin
Probably the one thing I'm looking forward to and relieved to leave behind. At least the people who go to college actually want to be there rather than forced to by law so that's already filtered out most of 'them', still not going to rid all of them but it's near enough. MattBlackLamb
Yeah, that's true to a point. Where I go there's a lot of construction students (a load of chavs), Sports Science students (more chavs), & hair & beauty students (yet more chavs). Then there are the art students (mostly emos) a level students (pretty normal people) & us music students (a mixture of people depending on what sort of music people are into).
