Does Paint.NET have the font-parsing feature?

Well, all "parsing" really is is going through the list and reading each one. PhotoShop and The GIMP do this at startup. Paint.NET does this when you click the Font Face drop down. So, it's not at the same place, but it does pretty much the same thing.

Well, talking about SIGGRAPH, NM said something huge was going to be happening there for them, yet I haven't seen a thing mentioning them on the SIGGRAPH website.

I like the idea of that feature, and I somehow understand how it works, even though it was explained in the video :D

Paint.NET does this when you click the Font Face drop down.

IIRC, Paint.NET slowly parse them at startup.

There's some lag when you open the dropdown because it draw every font name in its own layout.
