Pyrochild:

Okey dokey, this is bugging me now, how in the world of foruming can a guest post a message and view private messages when this forum doesn't allow such activities unless you're a registered user?

I've been think about this and I thought could it be some action visitors are taking which the forum thinks they're posting a message, but viewing PM's?! And I seen this on other forums, too.

The guests are all planning an attack! Everyone run for you lives!

Mr Frojo found where that page is, if you click on the title 'Who's online' on the Forum Index. Every so often you'll see guests posting a message or viewing PM's.

Thinking about it now, it could be Rick as I've never seen him as Online even when he's been posting a message, although looking now there are two Guests viewing PM's...

tinyurl?

^Indeed.

Guests cannot view PMs and can['t] post

Sure, but they can hit the "Log in to see you private message" link or "post reply" one which both lead to the please-log-in page where the dude can

1. log in and no longer be a guest

or

2. hit back

or

3. leave.

FYI, the "log-in" link at the top is awfully located and I usually won't use it.

The "Log in to see you pm's" link is bigger and near the middle of the screen, so that "Guest" might be me.

No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio

Guests cannot view PMS and can only post if Rick allows it, which I don't think he does.

Exactly, it isn't allowed; at the bottom of each index and and topic it gives the restrictions applied for the person viewing it, so for a guest it's all 'cannot...'. This is why I'm puzzled.

snospmiS: Perhaps if your userbars weren't split up into three images each that would lessen the load. If you can animate the central section then why can't you animate it as one whole image? Also, both userbars are linked to your Photobucket account, how about just having the Photobucket userbar linked to the account.

It's because you don't understand how the "Who is Online"-thing architecture.

It's not checking every seconds/minutes what are you doing.

It just print what was the last page you hit.

So when you click the [http] link, are you a guest or not, it says "How well, he must be checking his private messages!"

Same with the http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/posti ... ply&t=4577 link in this page.

It's like when you're going to a secret date and say to you mother: "I'm playing basket at George's!", what will you mother say to Dan if he call when you're out?

"He's at George's playing basket, you may meet there."

She'll not go at George's, check you're there, go back and answer to Dan.

Hope you see the point :)

I do see your point :D. And I thought this before...

I've been thinking about this and I thought could it be some action visitors are taking which the forum thinks they're posting a message...

I just didn't realise that it could be happening so often, which is surprising as I do most of the time log on by posting a message. Well it's a solution anyway, thanks Bob.

Rick stays hidden, I think. You can make yourself hidden in your profile. You dont show up on that list when you're hidden.

I'm still alive!

Of course I can/could animate the whole image, but that would mean that it would have to load the total userbar several times ony because of the animated part, that consists out of many different gifs.

You see?

@Gladi8or2

Thx so much!! :D

Damn making this Elimintion Chamber is hard, I've got most of the roof done, but should I leave it how it is or completely finish it but risk it lagging to much for me to be able to use it? Or that my endorphin crashes when I try and open it? Or it crashes when I make a new collision or mass object?

Disney is overrated. You should go to Universal. :-)

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

I say this because I worked at Universal last summer for a two-month project. Best job ever.

Favorite ride? Dueling Dragons, Ice Dragon. Front-left is the best seat. Back-right of Fire Dragon.

Hulk is good, too; but not really worth waiting for front seat.

I liked Spider-man; I rode Mummy 11 times; I maxed out the score on Men In Black. I actually worked at Back to the Future: The Ride. Too bad it's closed...

I love the Men In Black ride...

Way too addictive.

No joke. Tip: When the cars face each other and you're supposed to shoot your opponent's exhaust port, turn around and shoot your own. Gets you just as much points, and it's a lot easier to shoot.

Also, this is as good a time as any...

Making these images is getting rather tiring. After 1000, I think I'll wait until 2000 to do them again.

My brother-in-law works there as a concession guy. He's introduced Dip-n'-dots to Universal a few years ago, and now it's a best seller!

Ice FTW!

It took me 10 minutes just to convince my 9-year old nephew to get on it :D

I went to BttF 15 years ago (soon after it opened), but now I'm sad to say that it's going to be replaced with "the Simpsons Ride" :(

Also, you must go to Universal City Walk at night (no tickets needed, just pay for parking). One time I ate at Emeril's and spent $80... for a party of two! It's also a great place to watch movies (they even have some in Imax). Also check out the Hard Rock Cafe.

I think it's like five USD, but I'm not sure...
