Oh, sure, it's no big deal to YOU, Mr. 2000-something! :-)

Was not ":roll:-ing" at your post count, just the image you posted.

Ah. Well,....fair enough, only took me five minutes.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

(EDIT: referring to your comment that it'll be 'someday' when you get to one-thousand)

The rate you've been going - and that is no dig - it shouldn't be too long.

On another note, I'm using ClearType and Corbel for my browsing font, it now overrides even website's own font. You may all do this and it may be regular practice but I've been sifting through my program files and found ClearType which I hadn't installed yet, then that got me onto the new fonts in use by Vista which got me onto Segoe UI which doesn't look good in FF and as FF can't seem to find Calibri I've resorted to Corbel.

Corbel is now stinging my eyes and I'm now using Roman or Ariel, I'm switching between them every two minutes.

EDIT 2: after restarting FF it has now found Calibri and it works beautifully.

heh. it was above 20 before my vacation, but those several days of 0 posts really hurt averages.

More toying around with plugin code and I've discovered a super-duper-fantastic-aweseme-totallyrawkin new way to do Frosted Glass. Oh, and did I mention that's it's about a bazillion faster than Paint.NET's included Frosted Glass?

Benchmark results:

Image: 4800x3600px

Amount: 1px
=============
Frosted Glass:
0:22.8

???:
0:09.7

Amount: 10px
=============
Frosted Glass:
7:31.4

???:
0:08.6

As you can see, the image I used for testing was quite large--4800x3600. At its maximum setting, Frosted Glass took 7 and a half minutes! Mine took less than 10 seconds in both cases. At 1 pixel, mine was more than twice as fast. At 10 pixels, it was a whopping 54 times as fast!

And it does the same as the already-present Frosted Glass plugin? That's nice.
Yuppers :D

The only dilemma remaining now is what to name it. Should I go with the tradition naming convention for faster effects and call it "Frosted Glass Deluxe"? Or Should I do it my normal way of improving included effects ala Curves+ and call it "Frosted Glass+"? Or something else entirely?

How about "Frosted Glass...to the FUTURE!"?

Okay, I realize this is a bit of a common thing for me...sorry...

FireFrost?

EDIT: or PyroFrost. I like that one.

Pyrofrost is better.
