FireFly
I don't understand much about Inkscape either. It seems way too complicated after using PdN
Myrddin
I think Inkscape is brilliant. I won't go into as much detail as CMD, mainly because I'm hungry (save some Ice Cream for me pyro), but I agree it is more natural and flows much better with me. In fact, Inkscape is playing a pivotal role in future wallpapers with me, still with a PDN element of course. Plus, there are benefits to vectors over raster graphic, mainly the lossless resizing ability and coupled with the phrase 'free' it makes it a brilliant companion. As some would say, Inkscape for the win! Actually, on a line node topic, would we be privileged to more line nodes in future releases of PDN? I would make some tasks much easy, but then some smaller tasks harder, still, is this a possibility? Myrddin
Or during the drawing of lines much like we can select colour or width while the line is still editable. Quote How to Save Your Images under Different File Types My dA Gallery
usedHONDA
^^Actually, a thread was made asking that earlier this year (Mid-Late February). Rick said no. *downloads Inkscape**plays around in it for a bit* *gets confused* *runs away crying* *gets ice cream* Inkscape is the type of program that you don't need much skill to learn, but you still have to get accustomed to it. I think I'm more of a normal less-experienced user of Inkscape. It's great for creating company logos, but I can't draw a thing in there. Andrew D
Well, I just tried to download Inkscape, and it said that it couldn't open the file because either of a failed download or virus, so now I'm busy checking my computer like hell. Any reason why?
usedHONDA
That may be because you're using Internet Explorer to download it... Crazy Man Dan
Did you get it from here?: http://inkscape.org/download/?lang=en If so, then the file should be safe. It's the same one I have. I've been using Inkscape for a little over a year now, and I've never had a virus. david.atwell
I JUST noticed that I've passed my 500 post landmark. 15 posts ago. How sad is that? spike 121
you know what, it used to be that my comp was so bogged down with all this 3rd party start up software; e.g. RocketDock, Launchy, Google Web Accelerator, google talk, that i was lucky to even be able to get it in stand by mode so, i went through, and found out that the gwa client was using up almost 10mb of space, and thats not counting the fact that the actual gwa itself was using 3mb, RD also uses about 10 mb, google talk use almost 15 mb, and launchy about 7 mb, so i got rid of gwa and all is good in the world now ^^ Quote  "No. Dreaming is illegal."~Pyrochild

usedHONDA
All I have in my startup menu is Pidgin and the Google Web Accelerator. Also, I just checked my credit score and report and I was amazed at how high it is! Though it isn't very suprising because I've never paid a bill late in my life (my credit report showed a lot of green squares). And because nobody knows my full name, I'd be willing to say that the score is 806 out of a possible 850. This means that only 0.69% of the country has a better score than I do. BTW, I got the report for free and the score for about $6 at annualcreditreport.com because it's the only true free credit report (freecreditreport.com is a rip that doesn't give you a real report or score). BoltBait
I've run my credit before and it reminded me of a famous quote by Bob Uker describing his seat for the baseball game: "If they ever turn this place around, I'll be in the front row." usedHONDA
With my score, I could probably get a decently large home loan and still get a low rate and down payment. But I'm sticking with my apartment for now @spike 121: But it's so worth spamming! freecreditreport.com rips you off, but it doesn't break any laws so you can't shut the company down. Crazy Man Dan
Thanks for introducing Strong Bad to me, CMD! You're most welcome! Don't forget to click on "press conference" at the bottom of the newspaper at the end for an easter egg. The cartoons on H*R have easter eggs all over the place. If you're ever wondering if you've missed an extra, you can check H*R Wiki for whatever toon you're watching, and it'll have a transcript along with the locations of all easter eggs, plus the pointing out of fun goofs and inside joke explanation. Pyro, I'd so steal a piece of that cake, but alas, this is the internet, and I have no transmissible physical manifestation of myself which I can send over there to do my bidding.
