Hey there Kemaru - I was wondering where you were.  Yes - the forum had BIG problems for about a month or two .... you can read all about it here.

Ok so I find myself changing a $230 optima car battery after spending the last 2 days learning all about transponder keys and RFID car security systems all just to diagnose a single blinking red light on the car dashboard.... It would have been easier to just remove the dash and blinking bulb ffs... story of my life, do it the right way from the start.

/end rant.

Yes, that is a real screenshot of a Screenshot Capture utility running inside paint.net. I've only made the necessary changes to get it to run as an effect plugin, so it doesn't actually render anything to canvas yet (still spiting out a .png of the capture).

There will be the obvious issue of canvas size, but I thought "why not... I'll do it for kicks".

Updating Windows 10 TP on my little netbook... after several hours of updating... final setting up after login.

It's now telling me "This is taking longer than usual"  :|  :|  :|

I know my netbook is slower than norm but you don't have to be so blunt about it  :(

I just got a netbook from HP, it has Linux and Windows 7. Whats funny is it having more hard drive space than my regular PC... which also has only Windows XP.

What? HP is manufacturing that netbook rubish again? I thought the OEMs learn their lesson with those. But if it offers you more powerful hardware than what you had before, more power to you. :)

Only 7 days to Windows 10 :D

And I got to do some cleaning by uninstalling VS2013 and anything related plus some stuff I don't need. And then once W10 has been installed, put VS2015 in. Don't want to have VS2015 before upgrading because the upgrade process reinstalls everything so I can save some time by not having VS in that process.

I've been using the Insider build for a couple weeks. After some initial driver problems got ironed out, I've found myself really liking it.

In case you hadn't noticed, ImageShack has been offline for 3 days (still partially down). Some how had they managed to accidentally purge the operating system on every single one of their 200 servers. LOL. More than three days to fix?! Tells you something about their infrastructure. As someone that has worked at webhosting company with a few thousand servers, I can say, "that's pathetic".

This company keeps shooting themselves in the foot. Sad, but amusing at the same time.
