Huh. Bought a book for £3 at Winchester today with four others. It sells, on average, for around £100. Nice.

What said book is this?

And speaking of buying books, I got two today from Waterstones : Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell, and The Divine Comedy by Dante. The latter might take a while to read through :D

The Poetical Works of Sir Walter Scott. Along with the four other books I bought, I've got a collection worth about £200 if i fund a lucky buyer. Of course, they're far too beautiful to sell.

Here's a random news from Yahoo.

I guess after 40 years of putting up with his "Inconvenient Truth" she just decided he was a blowhard.

Good job, Al Gore. Tipper is now fed up with your lack of common sense and idiocy. How she put up with you is beyond my ability to compute, but hey, you did try to run for president and when that failed, she 86'd you.

Those are some funny phobias. I have cynophobia, by the way, though I can cope with small dogs.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2009/oct/14/finland-broadband

The Finnish government has become the first in the world to make broadband internet access a legal right. ... The agreement means that by July next year, telecommunications companies will be obliged to provide all Finnish residents with broadband lines that can run at speeds of at least 1 megabit per second...

Interesting, though it won't affect me in any way yet. :)

I'm not scared of pictures, or film clips for that matter. (I doubt I'll ever watch Kujo, though  )

You mean Cujo. Never saw it, and never was a big fan of horror movie. By the way, what's up with everybody talking about phobias? No wonder why the world is so edgy...too many fear of everything and hardly any peace.

There's one thing I'm scared of...Mike Myers.
