No, I bought it. :) My ZEN failed me on the bus trip (battery dead in 5 hours!) and I wanted an iPod Touch badly, so I bought one. iTunes is killing me, though! No, I don't want to give my credit card information to get album art. D:

Angels & Demons by Dan Brown was very mind-opening to me, it deals with stuff like god vs. science. Definitely one of my favourite books.

My 32Gb iPod touch is here!! :)

i agree, the da vinci mystery (directly translated i dont know if its the english title) is allso nice... tho i think the movie ruined the book...

Is this what you won with your lockerz points? It sounds as if you won it as a prize... boltbait.lol.png

My brother has reached over 2000 points and he still thinks he's got a chance of getting a prize! He hasn't even got his Z lister T-Shirt which was meant to be here by now ages ago. boltbait.lol.png

Yeah, I had bought an 8GB iPod touch but I returned it because I hated using iTunes that much. I don't like how the Apple brand limits the capability to only use iTunes, while the apps are the thing that keep people coming. Too bad Microsoft doesn't have the greatest App Store with many developers or else I'd buy a Zune. :(

There are many alternatives to iTunes when it comes to syncing with the iPod touch. Personally I use MediaMonkey. Apple only locks you in if you let them think they do.

...But only syncing with the music on the iPod, you basically are still stuck with iTunes if you want apps, and then you are using multiple media players and libraries. This is what I think is pointless, so I just skipped all that stuff and returned my iPod. ;)

I download all my apps straight from my iPod so I never deal with iTunes for apps. Since all my apps are linked with my iTunes account, I don't have to sync them regularly, and if I ever want to wipe my iPod or something, I can download them all again in one place, for free. I only use MediaMonkey for music, so I don't bother updating two libraries. It works pretty well.

The thing about software like that, is that it's a free version but limiting. I'd like it more if there was no "Gold" version...

I just like how my Windows Media Player Library syncs with Media Center so I can listen to my music or watch my recorded shows, all while keeping my ratings the same. :)

Off-topic: I was wondering whether anyone would mind just taking a look at my new website and saying what they think of it? I realise that every time I have tried to do this, it has been a failure, but this time I'm going to squeeze the most out of it before it fails.

A friend of mine has a weird hobby. If he's in a restroom and notices some guy use the toilet and leave without washing his hands... he follows him out, takes his picture with a cell phone, and posts it on a web site. He includes a nice write up including where the offending behavior took place.

How wrong is that?

BoltBait, that friend of yours need a new hobby. That's kinda funny because I cringe whenever I see people using the johns but don't wash their hands afterward and return to work. I work in a manufacturing plant, but all the same, personal hygiene should be taken care of before returning to work.

Frontcannon, what on earth are you talking about? Something to rebel against? I was a teenager once, and if there wasn't something to rebel against, I'll find something to rebel against.

If the act of rebelling isn't recognised as such it doesn't count. You can refuse to eat meat or wear extravagant clothes but who still is shocked by that today?

My parents certainly aren't.

I think it's important for someone in their young ages to find something that clearly distinuishes him from the grown-up crowd. It just matters in the process of forming your "adult" identity. If nobody cares about your effort of distancing yourself from the others... some people then resort to very extreme methods. Just take a look at gangster culture.

Youth crime is getting more and more violent. Some months ago they kicked an old man to death in Munich because he asked them to stop smoking in the subway.

It's a cruel example, but it shows best what I mean by 'they don't care'.

GW, no disrespect, but seriously... who wants to listen to a 17-year-old ramble on about how bad school is?

THANK YOU for not writing a blog.

You're welcome BoltBait. I'm not sure if that comment was directed towards me or towards my age group. Though, I don't think I complain much about how bad school is (I could be wrong...). I have had multiple blogs, one on WordPress.com, webs.com, and blogger.com. Since you started about blogs, I also decided to start another with some adsense involved. I will keep this blog tutorial content, with examples on how to create art with any graphics program, mainly Paint.NET or Inkscape. Maybe I'll make a few dollars in a couple of years. boltbait.lol.png
