Bah, I'm not even getting into the Global Warming debate. Too much of what I call intellectual nonsense, where one professional will spend 5+ years researching the impact a certain object of interest has on the climate, while another spends just as much time disproving the theory entirely. If, in the end, all this research leads to more human development and efficiency (i.e., cheaper alternative to gasoline/petrol), then I don't mind it. However, if we end up pouring big chunks of taxpayer dollars to save an endangered species of frog based on a theory who's basic validity is questioned, I'll have to... uh... type EVEN MORE big, run-on sentences, simply because that's what decides the debate- which side of the issue talks so much, the oposition gives up, while the people in the gray are posting Facebook status updates about their normal, more satisfying lives.

In conclusion: Ignorance is bliss.

"The greatest thing about the Internet is that you can write anything you want and give it a false source." ~Ezra Pound

0(-.-)0, I'm willing to forgive your hard-to-type-and-pronounce username because of the fact that your signature is really, really cool.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Doesn't matter whether Global Warming is real or not. I just want my grandkids to learn about the Amazon as if its there not was there. Why wait till it's globally accepted theres a problem when its plain to see SO many places are already suffering. Global warming, cooling or climate change doesnt matter, Maintaining a beautiful earth is what really matters.

Agreed. I've been saying for years that climate change isn't as big a deal as Al Gore makes it out to be.

I'm not sold either way on climate change, I do think that as we cannot predict the future it is better to plan for the worst.

The "greener" methods of producing electricity & things like recycling should be adopted, I feel. Not necesarily because of environmental factors (as I said, I'm not really sure) more because we have things like wind blowing, waves breaking against our shores, the sun & the tides around that could be generating our electricity for comparitevly little, sure, there would be some set-up costs, but after that it's pretty much plain sailing. It would be a much better alternative to Nuclear, Coal & Gas power stations as, in the cas of Gas & Coal, they are running out (no debate there), or, in the case of Nuclear, seriously damaging our planet with all the waste they create.

Recycling makes sense simply because as we have already made this plastic bottle we might as well re-use what we can, maybe not as a bottle, turn it into a fleese hoodie, plastic bag, or pretty much anything else made from plastic.

Son, someday you will make a girl happy for a short period of time. Then she'll leave you & be with men that are ten times

better than you can imagine. These men are called musicians. :D

Thank you for your forgiveness and compliment :P

In return I shall tell you a secret.

It is pronounced: Mung-kee-fase. Derived from the words "monkey" and "face", this word is the manifestation of delusional primates.

So after spending 8+ hours on a painting, I found that I won the contest I entered! (Well, ok, the district competition; there's still state and nationals). So, as a prize, I received a gift card. It turned out to be...$5 to Jamba Juice.

8 hours for an Power Size Pink Starburst. Well, it's the experience that counts...right? :P

Why is the maximum width for a sig 500px? I don't see what effect it has unless it's stretching the board. Am I missing something?

For those who have slow internet connection (or dial-up)? I don't know either...
