Oh, spam. It's like you're in your home, talking to your friends, when suddenly a man walks in, smiling, and says "O hai guise, hao arr yu?"

So you and your friends are all like, "Who are you?" And he's all, "Lolwut Im yur oldest n best freynd," and you're all "no you're not, I've never seen you before." And then he's like "No ur post is awesome n btw I noticed ur a group of heterosexual young men so WANNA BUY A PAIR OF BOOTS THAT EVEN SELF-RESPECTING TEEN GIRLS ARE ASHAMED TO WEAR IN PUBLIC?!?"

Then he wonders why you kick him out of your house and call the police.

Broadband. It's COMING! :star::star::star:

:D Happy for you mate. You'll be even quicker locking threads :lol:

This has made me realise we can take things for granted ... I won't moan about 5.9 Mbps again

Actually we generally get onto spam before its even reported. So don't feel that it has to be pointed out - we see it boltbait.wink.png

The amount of spam tends to ebb and flow. At the moment we are getting a stream of it (somewhere in between a trickle and a flood). Rest assured that each and every spammer is dealt with severely - they don't get a second chance.

Recently switched to Chrome after Firefox became a crashing wreck. It's actually a pretty nice browser. Does anyone know if there's something like NoScript for Chrome?

If you just want to block javascript on certain sites, Chrome can do that without an extension.

"I have always depended on the kindness of strangers." ~Blanche DuBois, A Streetcar Named Desire (1951).

Now that I have a Kindle Fire, I can somewhat relate to Blanche DuBois. Since it only has wi-fi, I give thanks to all of the strangers who leave their wireless networks open.

It is far too easy to buy books on wifi!
