gvma
How do you get that pixilated effect newspapers use? The type where the pixels are tiny dots, and are bunched together or spaced apart with varied sizes to get shading effects etc. Thanks

barkbark00
Halftone? This can't currently be done in PdN...it would be nice though! Quote Take responsibility for your own intelligence. -Rick Brewster
Helio
This can't currently be done in PdN...it would be nice though! On the contrary, it can! Thanks to fabulous Ed. EdHarvey Effects True, it is not quite the same definition or quality as newspapers use, but it is halftone! Quote v An excellent open–source strategy game—highly recommended. barkbark00
Helio, Halftone is a broad term. The halftone provided with Ed's effects is not the same thing. Quote Take responsibility for your own intelligence. -Rick Brewster
Helio
Why? It looks similar... As I said, it is not exactly like what they use, but close. barkbark00
Same concept, different implementation. Ed's recreates the shading with individual black or white pixels. The requested effect achieves shading by using varying the size of black(or other color) "dots". The former is a much cleaner and more useful effect. moc426
That is very good, how did you do this? It has some incorrect dots I think but they are minor, the result is supposed to be viewed as a smaller size I believe so you can show best. Of course it was on purpose a side effect of the waves plugin. Don't tell me it involves use of that plugin because there's a cool effect you can get from that plugin of course it's not like yours but still
