mr.quickly
Hello Together, when i edit a picture in paint.net an click save as the window appears wichs points on my desktop. When i now change the file format from png e.g. to jpg paint.net hangs with "no response", like on this picture after some time i can save the image because the program reacts again. Does anyone know this problem?

SunYaC
I don't know the answer, but I have the same problem. Its annoying because the program freezes for quite a long time...
mr.quickly
It seems the problem only occours if the picture is placed on the desktop. If I choose a drive instead everything works fine :-)
SunYaC
Thank you for hint, it really seems like that. I don't know what is the problem with the files on the desktop, but formerly I had similar problem with loading files into Outlook as attachment. Outlook also freezed in case when the loaded file was on the desktop. Its strange...
Bob
Maybe you've something on your desktop that makes Windows Explorer angry, like a network disk or something. My 2 debugging cents. Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio
SunYaC
Hi Bob, you're right, I had few network shortucts on my desktop and this caused the problem. I have removed them and now paint.net runs excellently Thank you!
