cjmcguinness
Nancy, Are you trying to remove trace of shadows cast ON an object or behind/below an object? Would you be able to post one or two example pictures with explanations of what elements you are trying to remove. -CJ
NancyL
Yes, I'm trying to earse a shadow from the item. I need the item to almost look like it is floating within the white background. We will be using the pictures for a brochure. I used the magic wand and got the checkerboard background and they look pretty good but not good enough. Bob
:DuplicateLayer: Duplicate layer Magic Wand Blur it ( :ZoomBlur: , :GaussianBlur: or :MotionBlur:) And put the  duplicated layer under the other one. NancyL
Thanks! I'll give it a try! I just started on this today and haven't had much time to work with it. The layers thing is confusing but I'll work at it. You much spend hours and hours on this! How creative!
