barkbark00 3
Thanks Tanel. I did see CMD's post on inverting alpha values and it cleared things up a bit for me... usedHONDA 4
I've actually used the curve feature in Alpha mode. pyrochild 362
Pryo, Forgive me for implying that anything in Curves+ was useless! Who is "Pryo"? kidding. =) glad to see you figured it out though. to be perfectly honest, i only truly understood the way curves work after i started working on the first version of curves+. Crazy Man Dan 19
1) You don't open the DLL with Paint.NET. 2) That's the unzipped folder of the package you downloaded, not your install directory. Your install directory is C:/Program Files/Paint.NET/ and the Effects folder is in there. Paint_boy 2
Man most of pyrochild's plugins should be included in paint.NET especially his + ones. EDIT: What do you open a DLL with? Word? DLLFileOpener? If even is such a thing.

Bob 4
You don't open a dll, you link to it. Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio
pyrochild 362
Man most of pyrochild's plugins should be included in paint.NET especially his + ones. Thanks What do you open a DLL with? Word? DLLFileOpener? If even is such a thing. DLL stands for Dynamic Link Library. They are basically programs that don't run on their own; rather, other programs use the functions stored in the DLL. By "open" I assume you mean that you want to look at the source code and modify it. That requires a decompiler, but most programmers, myself included, do not like other people decompiling their code. It is ours, we worked hard on it, and we don't want to share. If we do want to share, we will give you the original source code. Like Paint.NET. Mr Frojo 2
Heres some quick examples of what the curves built into paint.net can do. http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/en/Curves.html Curves+ can do the same, and it has support for a lot of other features. Its kinda advance though, and takes some time to learn. If you want to see some stuff it can do, look for the hdr image blending tutorial in the tutorial section (I think its stickied) Quote I'm still alive!

olav.k.m 1
I love this plug-in pyro! I found this little method of creating "melting text" or something, and since I haven't got anything better to do; here's a pic overlooking the steps creating the effect.
