Yata
Well, I'm interested, how would I make a theme for FF? Short, sweet, to the point post, I'm not expecting the creation of a theme to be that easy. usedHONDA
In reality, short, sweet, and to the point is impossible. I've tried. It's harder than you think. For one thing, you need to learn Java. For another, you have over 50 buttons to meticulously create (over 200 if you include objects like tabs). You would also have to rewrite all of the text (the options menu for example). http://www.twistermc.com/blog/2006/09/2 ... efox-theme http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=198911 Quote "The greatest thing about the Internet is that you can write anything you want and give it a false source." ~Ezra Pound twtr | dA | tmblr | yt | fb
jake2k
skinning always looks easy but once you start looking into it you see how hard it really is . If you want to just "practice" you can take a screenshot of your FF browser and make all the buttons, tabs, etc. Quote ^Click to visit my Flickr Gallery^
usedHONDA
I just thought of another thing: For every button, you need an inactive version, an active version, and another for when it is being clicked. So that triples you job right there. Myrddin
I tried this once, after unzipping the default theme and finding out what needs to be done etc. I thought to myself 'I'll just replace all the current icons with their equivalents, that would work...' It failed miserably. Quote How to Save Your Images under Different File Types My dA Gallery
