Derribong
Try as I may,I cannot open .dll files.Have uninstalled Paint.Net and installed again(v3.05),all to no avail. My computer is running XP2 and IE7,which may not be compatible for Paint.Net.I have used BoltBait's Installing Effects in Paint, but still get the same message when I try to open a file= Caution, You are attempting to open a file of type 'Application Extension'(.dll) These files are used by the operating system and by various programs.Editing or modifying could damage yor system. Would very much like to use the plugins,so will be grateful if anyone has a solution.
MadJik
Do not open the dll itself! The plugins are added to PdN and appear in the effect menu (generaly) and/or submenus. You have to open a picture file or image file or start with a new white page... Then click on the menu Effect and select the one you need/want... Bob
Have you followed carefully the method described here: http://boltbait.googlepages.com/install ?? Did you installed Paint.NET in a different folder that the default one? Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. Bob
Be sure to find automatically where PdN is installed. Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio
