FireFly 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 Well, I'm just interested to see who's from where and where most of the PDN forumers come from. Obviously, most of you aren't from the Southern Hemisphere because whenever I'm on, hardly anyone else is. I've been a user for about 1.5 weeks now and I've been on A LOT in that time and the most users I've ever seen on at once is about 8! Surely there are more frequent users than that! So I have concluded you are mostly from the Northern Hemisphere. I have never been overseas so anything to do with other countries usually livens me up . So... where are YOU from? Sorry for not including that many countries... the polls are limited to 9 or 10 choices

barkbark00 3 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 So technically your tag should be "Up". You should switch names with some one from south of my country's border. You could be "en lo alto"...
Alex G 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 Norway I think I'm the only one from my country on this forum Edit:  2 other guys from Norway in the member list
Modrzew 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 I come from Poland I don't think there are many Poles on this forum, but believe me - Paint.NET has been very popular in polish part of Internet recently and many reviews were made, much of them describing PDN as "open-source equivalent of Photoshop"

FireFly 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2007 I'm surprised how good the response has been. I though one of the mods would see something wrong with this poll... Guess not.
Crazy Man Dan 17 Report post Posted April 14, 2007 I dunno. I voted in the poll! You're not collecting addresses or credit card numbers, and the forum itself allows one to say where one is. For instance, I have the State* in which I live in my "Location" box. Besides, it's interesting seeing the peoples converging from all over the world. * "State" here as in the State of Wisconsin, not a state of confusion... jpope 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2007 And on the flip side, we don't know what we're missing in Australia. @The_Lionhearted - I just realized that you and I are only about 2 1/2 hours apart. * "State" here as in the State of Wisconsin, not a state of confusion... My state Missouri, or is it the state of misery??
FireFly 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2007 I'm pretty sure I do. They do have TV in Australia, and on TV they have travel shows and documentaries. Maybe it would be better if I didn't know what I'm missing though...
jpope 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2007 ...Maybe it would be better if I didn't know what I'm missing though... That's one reason I generally don't watch the news.
FireFly 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2007 I don't usually watch the news either, but I feel isolated when I haven't got a clue what's happening around me
