FireFly
For my 110MB site, I was looking for some free templates. I could not believe how many I found. I even found some really good looking flash templates but I don't have all the software needed to edit them.
usedHONDA
Bah! I hate flash templates! Go here: http://www.freecsstemplates.org/ It isn't the place I got my css, but it has some good ones. BTW, you shouldn't go for one just because of the color/images. You can edit those in Paint.NET! That's how I did my buttons! usedHONDA
I was using the ASP.NET Web Matrix, but after you have the colors and images the way you want it, you can do it almost completely in notepad. EDIT: It's weird that I can think of such a catastrophic loss as funny. usedHONDA
Yeah, you have to change the link. EDIT: I can sorta see what the page is going to look like. Just replace the link with a random image and you get this. usedHONDA
Is that supposed to be a period or question mark? Picc84
A question mark. Meaning, how do i get em'. Lol, sorry. FireFly
I was having trouble with updating the pages. Like I would edit the index and then save it blah blah blah... but when I went to my website, it was still the same. Am I missing something? georgiabrat1978
http://usedhonda.110mb.com/index.htm^^That's it^^ I had an old homepage, but it really stunk. But this one is true XHTML and CSS. I originally took it from a template, but thought that it still wasn't that good. so I changed some colors, added some images, and poof! A cool homepage! The only challenge I have is to find a way to disable capital letters for the headings. Another thing is that there's the weird "A" symbol that keeps appearing on front of my copyright symbol. Comments and suggestions! I like it, it's clean, has a clear quality about it, good color quardnation Simple, yet just artistic enough to be noticed. All-in-all I like it 2 thumbs up, well 1 thumb up and one kind of three quarters of the way up. lol. I'm being silly, just ignore me. This is me on no sleep. usedHONDA
I just did a little update to the website. Now the sidebar is on the left and navigation links on the right to make it look less like a blog. I also added header links (the semicolon was put there on purpose). In a little bit, I'll create some new pages and start a true update. Before: After BTW, I know my navigation links are backwards now. I'll fix that. EDIT: That look better. But now there's something wrong with my doctype!
