But its still horrible. (i'll buy once the pirce comes down)

Extra
As a developer who writes Ring 0 software...Gah!!! Vista, may the fleas of 1,000 camels infest your arm pits! A close friend of mine does video editing. Then he goes and buys Vista. ... The next day he tells me he wants to throw his computer out the window. The company writes a patch for it, but the program is still buggy. "It should have waited a few months," he said, "so they could iron out a few more bugs." usedHONDA
I think you should slow down on the topic starting. You have 16 posts and 4 topics (that's 1/4 of your posts). BuzzKill
^ ^ Personally, I'm not even going to think about upgrading to Vista until after they release the first service pack for it. Im-a-n00b-at-art
Anyway, what I heard was that XP is more safer than Vista.

usedHONDA
Personally, I don't see a problem with the annoying security pop-up thing. All you need to do is turn it off. BoltBait
That may be easy for you... But, try explaining that to the THOUSANDS of people that download your tools off the Intel web site... 1. User downloads a tool off Intel.com 2. Runs it. 3. Security Warning... :? 4. Hmmm... I better deny that! 5. Program fails 6. ...calls Intel... $$$ 7. "Your program doesn't work" etc. Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
Myrddin
Personally, I'm not even going to think about upgrading to Vista until after they release the first service pack for it. Same here, or at least after a year has past. Whichever comes first. Actually to be completely honest, my XP still works, has and will for a very long time and while ever there's rumours of an XP SP3 I'll continue to use it. BoltBait
Well, I'm glad you have an AMD as you are probably one of the people that would call... :? Support calls cost a company money (thus the $$$ in my previous post). My job is to write software and web sites that PREVENT support calls, NOT generate them.
