Im-a-n00b-at-art
If you are fed up deleting an item from the recycle bin, press and hold the "Shift" key then press the "Delete" key on your keyboard while the item is selected. Press and hold the "Windows Logo" button then pressing the "Pause" button on your keyboard displays the "System Properties". By pressing and holding the "Windows Logo" button then pressing the "R" button on your keyboard opens up "Run". Pressing and holding "Alt" then pressing the "Enter" button on your keybpard while the item is selected displays the file's properties. By pressing "F2" on your keyboard while the item is selected you can rename the file. And this one is my favourite: To restart just windows and not your whole computer, hold down the "Shift" key on your keyboard when you click the "Restart" button with your mouse on the shutdown screen. Saves time! Shortcuts make life easier...
BoltBait
My favorite Windows Logo key combinations are: Windows - D Minimizes all windows... nice when the boss walks into your cube. Windows - L Lock your PC... nice when you need to leave your cube. BoltBait
Windows - M It minimises all windows as well True, but Windows-D is better because when you press it a second time it puts all of your windows back where they were. Windows-M does not. Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
Mr Frojo
Windows-M minimizes all the windows. Windows-D brings the desktop to the top. Not all things can be minimized, so I use Windows-D. Quote I'm still alive!
The_Lionhearted
Shift+Windows+M brings all windows back up. Windows+D is better because it's one less key press. Quote My Gallery

Rick Brewster
Alt+F, R --> jump to Open Recent menu Alt+H, D --> jump to Help->Donate In Windows Vista there are some great new keyboard shortcuts. Win+#, where # is a number from 1-9 and 0 (for "10") will open the corresponding Quick Launch shortcut. I use the Search in the start menu a lot: if I hit Win, then P, then Enter (in quick succession -- no need to wait for the search results to populate) it will open Paint.NET. Win, F, Enter opens FireFox. Win, "sdk", Enter opens the Windows SDK Documentation (very important for me! ). And so on and so forth. Edit: Alf to you to, BuzzKill! 8) Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
