Ok, new to PDN, and I love it. Already made the flames from the tut!

I came to the fourms specifically looking for this problem, but I tried it and i got nothing. I still ahve the white backgroudn...

What do I do w/ the magic wand? I hve the tolerance set to 0 and I hve the curser as a magic wand. i tried selecting the part i want transparant and tried to delete it, but all I get are the gray and white ssquares.

PLEASE HELP!

ps--i'm trying to make the white around this graphic transparant:

grey and white squares mean that it is transparent

Thanks for the quick reply.

ok, but I still have the white around the design.

I did open this project, after it was flattened and saved from yesterday. (I started w/ the button, added the text on a new layer, flattened it and saved it as a jpg.)

Could that be my problem? I could try it w/ a new one.

Thanks!
